Milestone
That's it from our coverage of another brilliant encounter in the T20 Blast. Ninaad Dixit, Arijit Kundu and scorer/analyst Suresh Kumawat signing off. Stay tuned for more action from around the world.
9:49 PM IST, 5:19 PM Local Time: Kent defeat Hampshire comprehensively by 8 wickets and six balls to spare to get in a stronger position in the South Group table of the T20 Blast.

Earlier, Hampshire Hawks' decision to bat first backfired after their top order faltered against the opposition bowling attack. Losing three wickets for 29 runs inside four overs, Dewald Brevis and Joe Weatherald added 34 runs together before the South African fell after the field spread out.

However, Weatherald continued scoring the bulk of the runs, smashing a fifty amidst a 60-run stand with Benny Howell. The latter's 14-ball 23 run cameo steered them to 177 runs in 20 overs.

Chris Wood got an early breakthrough in the 5th over dismissing Tawanda Muyeye in the chase but Daniel Bell-Drummond (61 off 40) and Zak Crawley (75* off 43) added 110 runs for the 2nd wicket with Wood breaking the stand in the 15th over.

Besides Wood (2/32), James Fuller (0/11 in 2), Benny Howell (0/20 in 3) and Bjorn Fortuin (0/28) tried their best to contain the scoring but there were never enough runs to bring the momentum back towards Hants.

Joe Denly hit 1 four and a six to finish the game with an unbeaten 21 off 16 with Crawly playing some delightful strokes to keep the momentum with the hosts throughout the game.

18.6 S Currie to J Denly
6 SIX RUNS! Denly finishes things off with a maximum. On a length and middle stump line. Gets on the front foot and clobbers a big heave across the line. Gets the timing and connection well and clears the square leg boundary for a biggie.
18.5 S Currie to Z Crawley
1 Short of a length outside off. Played off the toes to backward point for a quick run.
18.4 S Currie to J Denly
1 Short of a length outside off. Punched off the backfoot straight to the cover fielder who makes a half stop and allows a single.
18.3 S Currie to Z Crawley
1 Full and outside the off stump. Skips down the track and heaves it down the ground. Long off takes it on the bounce, single taken.
