10:22 PM IST, 5:52 PM Local Time: That’s it. It continues to rain and play has been abandoned. Worcestershire wrap up a comprehensive win over Yorkshire. It was an all-around effort from them and they win the game by 60 runs on the DLS method to register their first win of T20 Blast 2025. Yorkshire have been completely outplayed today and they suffer their second straight loss.

Chasing 202, Yorkshire got off to a disastrous start. They lost Dawid Malan (0), William Luxton (1), James Wharton (2), Harry Duke (2) and Will Sutherland (0) inside the powerplay. Half of their side was back in the hut in the sixth over, with only 40 on the board. Adam Lyth looked good at the crease and scored 38 before falling in the eighth over.

Matthew Revis and Dominic Bess kept Worcestershire at bay and put 63 for the seventh wicket before the former fell on 33. Bess kept fighting and scored 41 off 37 before rain arrived, with three balls left. Yorkshire were 135/8 and no further play was possible as they lost the game by 60 runs on the DLS method. Ben Dwarshuis (2/22), Jacob Duffy (2/30) and Adam Finch (2/19) picked up two scalps each for Worcestershire as they completed a dominant performance with the ball in hand.

Earlier, Worcestershire were asked to bat first. They lost Ed Pollock (12) and Kashif Ali (17) inside the powerplay. Skipper Brett D’Oliveira was joined by Adam Hose as both led the recovery work for the hosts. Both played some wonderful strokes and kept scoring at a brisk rate. Both raced past their respective fifties.

D’Oliveira scored 79 off 48 balls before departing in the 17th over as the 117-run stand was broken by William O’Rourke. Well-set Hose also fell on 37-ball 54 in the next over. Ben Dwarshuis was promoted up the order at number five and he played a cameo of 11-ball 21* to help his side post 201/5 on the board.

Dominic Bess and Will Sutherland picked up two wickets each for Yorkshire. William O’Rourke registered figures of 1/40 in his four overs. The rest of the bowlers went on a journey though. The batters then faltered in the chase and lost the fixture by 60 runs on the DLS method.

10:10 PM IST, 5:40 PM Local Time: Scratch the previous update. The rain is back and so are the covers. It's absolutely bucketing down now and the groundsmen bring in more covers.
10:08 PM IST, 5:38 PM Local Time: The rain has stopped and the groundsmen are removing the covers.
10:02 PM IST, 5:32 PM Local Time: With three balls left in the match, the heavens have opened up. It has started raining and the players have started walking off.
