That's all we have for the coverage of the match between Sharjah Warriorz and MI Emirates with Sharjah Warriorz booking their spot in the Qualifier 2. Stay tuned for the cricketing across the globe.

This is me, Aditya Agarwal signing off on the behalf of Saptak Sanyal and Raju Khariya. CHEERS, BYE!
Tim Seifert (Player of the Match): "It's always nice to keep the team to a winning position and contribute. Bowlers have done really well in the first half.

Yes, pressure was back on us but we overcame and came back in the game. I've been lucky enough to keep. Had the experience to keep Southee and Milne earlier and I knew how they use the new ball. It helped. I've played quite a few times under Tim for the Blackcaps.

I think they also bowled very well. The pressure was back on us. But glad to contribute for the team. Big semifinal coming up, hopefully we make it to the final."
Player of the Match: Tim Seifert
Tim Southee ( Sharjah Warriorz Captain) : "I think the way we stuck with the ball it was good. We kept taking wickets and it is nice to get over the line. I think it was a good complete performance by the bowlers. There is always some nerves in the big games, however we lost some quick wickets in the middle overs.

All the 3 venues are beautiful and I love to play here."
Nicholas Pooran (MI Emirates Captain): "We were below par. Feels like we put ourselves in a hole. 146 is tough to defend here. We got struck. Credit to Sharjah batters. They batted well and their bowlers also bowled well.

Sharjah Warriorz have some world class bowlers who consistently bowled through the Test match length. They deserve it.

Yes, a lot of positives. We have been consistent throughout. It is a tough tournament and if you play consistent cricket, you know you have a lot of positives. Yes, Farooqi didn't bowl with the new ball. We have to do a lot of new things for wickets so we wanted to bring Alzarri with the new ball. Tom Banton played for the first time in this tournament and had a brilliant tournament.

A lot of good players and a competitive cricket has been played throughout. Just loved the outings in this tournament."

Time for the post-match presentations.
11:36 PM IST and 10:06 PM Local Time | Sharjah Warriorz outclass MI Emirates and march into the Qualifier 2 of the ILT20 2025 as they beat the MI Emirates by 6 wickets remaining and 7 balls to spare.

Here's a review of what happened in the match.

Earlier, Sharjah Warriorz won the toss and opted to bowl first. MI Emirates batting first could only manage to put up a score of 146/8 on the back of Nicholas Pooran's knock of 42 runs from 22 balls.

All the Sharjah Warriorz's bowlers were brilliant with the ball, Tim Southee bagged 2 wickets for his side and was the pick of the bowlers for his team.

Chasing 147, Sharjah Warriorz started off in great fashion and came out all guns blazing. Johnson Charles played a fiery knock of 36 runs from 20 balls before getting out.

Warriorz ended the powerplay with a score of 58/1. Tom Kohler-Cadmore then continued the batting onslaught with Jason Roy as the duo put up a 52-run stand for the second wicket.

Sharjah Warriorz then suffered a mini collapse as they crumbled from 101-1 to 124-4. However, Tim Seifert batted sensibly and played a match winning knock of 40* runs from 20 balls to get his side over the line by 6 wickets.

Muhammad Rohid Khan impressed with the ball for MI Emirates as he bagged 3 wickets to his name. Stay tuned for the presentation!
