So that’s it from this game. Gulf Giants needed this win to stay alive, and they got exactly what they needed, as they won this game pretty comprehensively in the end. For the Knight Riders, they now need to win their last game. Meanwhile, MI Emirates have now officially qualified for the playoffs. James Vince (Gulf Giants Captain)- All we can do is control the controllables. We are still alive and now we will wait for some results to go our way. I think we misread the pitch a bit, as we thought it looked a good wicket, but yeah in the end happy with the win. I think important thing for us was to try and put pressure back on the Knight Riders as we lost two early wickets and it worked as Tom Curran & Erasmus stitched a lovely partnership.
Yes it’s been a good campaign and we are still hopeful for results to go our way and make it to the playoffs.

Defending such low totals, the only way to win for the Knight Riders was to take wickets at regular intervals and their bowlers failed to do so.
