Milestone
That's it from our coverage of the 21st game of ILT20 2025 between Sharjah Warriorz and Gulf Giants. Gulf Giants kept their nerves and eventually came out with a victory by 6 wickets.

For now, this is Saptak Sanyal signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Aditya Agarwal and our scorer/analyst Raju Khariya. Good night.
Tom Alsop (Player of the Match): "Ya it was good to spend some time in the nice wicket.  It was a different condition last night but today we assessed the conditions and played accordingly. I think it was gripping and there was not much on the offer for the spinners. But their spinners did well.

It is always nice to contribute for the team. I am happy."
Player of the Match: Tom Alsop
James Vince ( Gulf Giants Captain) : "It was a big weekend for us to get back into the competition. Nice to get back in the mix. Last night when we brought the spinners on we felt the conditions weren't ideal for them.

I think our seam attack was the best option in the conditions. Hopefully, we're building momentum when it matters the most."
Tim Southee ( Sharjah Warriorz Captain) : "Yeah, most part of the game we were in control. It was a pretty good score that we posted. Obviously, we are dewed up a bit. We have three game left hopefully we can salvage something."
Dispatch of the Day: Tom Alsop
Time for the post-match presentations.
11:15 PM IST and 9:45 PM Local Time | Gulf Giants defeated the Sharjah Warriorz by 6 wickets and the Warriorz have lost their fourth consecutive game so far.

Coming to bat first in the match, Sharjah Warriorz got a good start as they put up 57 on the board inside the powerplay. Tom Kohler-Cadmore and Johnson Charles were instrumental in their powerplay dominance. Charles got out for 30 off 19 balls. TKC added 29 beside his name. The hard-hitting in-form batter Avishka Fernando departed cheaply, Tim Seifert had a barren day with the bat but that didn't cause trouble to the Warriorz. Jason Roy took the upper hand and scored 44 off 30 balls to give his side some momentum. In the later stages of the game, a valuable cameo from Ashton Agar helped the Warriorz to go past the 170-run mark. He scored 23 off 13 balls with one four and two sixes.

For the Gulf Giants, Blessing Muzarabani was the star of the show picking up 3 wickets for 32 runs. Daniel Worrall, Mark Adair and Dominic Drakes took a wicket apiece.

Coming to chase the 173-run target, Gulf Giants got a good start as James Vince, their skipper was spot-on with his placements. He hit 5 boundaries to score 24 off 14 balls. He was dismissed by Dilshan Madushanka and after that, the batton was carried by the super substitute Tom Alsop. Alsop got Jordan Cox by his side. Cox got off the mark with a boundary but was dismissed for 8. Gerhard Erasmus replaced him in the crease and he was sent back by Tim Southee for 10.

Tom Alsop and Shimron Hetmyer then. They were cramped up in the middle overs. Shimron Hetmyer broke the shackles with a maximum of Madushanka but perished trying to replicate the result. Tom Alsop meanwhile completed his half-century on his debut. The equation was down to 59 from the final 5 overs. Tom Alsop charged against Dilshan Madushanka and took 18 runs from his over. Tom Alsop was belligerent in his approach and played in a very calculative way in the slog overs. He took his team home and remained unbeaten on 85 off 60 balls with 7 fours and 2 maximums. Tom Curran played a perfect second fiddle to him by staying unbeaten on 26 off 17 balls.

For the Sharjah Warriorz, Dilshan Madushanka took 2 wickets but proved to be expensive as he conceded 49 runs. Tim Southee and Adam Zampa took a wicket each.

Stay tuned for the post-match presentations.
