Shai Hope (Player of the Match): "The surface was a bit slower, so I had to be a little closer than I had to be. It was one of those catches where you put your hand out, and it is just struck (smiles). Chameera has got some pace, but as I said, the surface was a bit slow and I had to get closer.
Just trying to grow. Like it's when you are playing in different conditions, you look to adapt. You try to do little things in the nets, and improve the game in all assets. I think we are going in the right direction.

Player of the Match: Shai Hope
Sikandar Raza ( Dubai Capitals Captain): "I guess we are a home team hence we are winning all the games here. I think the wicket was tough to bat on as there was lot of turn. To be honest, 153 was below par score for us. Shai Hope batted beautifully today and the way Dasun finished the game for us really shows our character.
I think we are still not 100% with our efforts into the game. There is certainly room for improvement for the upcoming games."

James Vince (Gulf Giants Captain): "Well! Dasun Shanaka was able to strike in the middle. He was the only guy who could strike the bat tonight. A lot of stuff went our way till the last three overs. It was taken away from us at the last minute. It was a much better performance from us to get to that stage, from where we could win. Gerhard (Erasmus) is one of our best fielders, but another catch - which was a crucial one in this tournament - has gone down and cost us.
We felt like it was a decent score. We have seen it in last couple of games, where the wickets got slower as the game proceeded. Coxy played a brilliant innings, and took us to a decent score. I think it's just key moments, we have been short of runs from the top of the order.
We have been in games, not in all of those but at least in half of them. Fine margins in this format of the game. We aren't out of the competition yet, we just need to get up and do a bit of running to get back into it."
