That marks the end of the Chattogram leg in the ongoing BPL. After a couple of days' break, the action will move to the capital city, Dhaka. The match went to the last over, but the Khulna Tigers held their nerve and crossed the line with 6 wickets in hand. Time to wrap up this coverage. For now, it's me Deepak Prakash signing off on behalf of co-commentator Ajay Pal Singh and scorer/analyst Dushyant Madhukar Kumar. CHEERS!
Mehidy Hasan Miraz (POTM & Khulna Tigers Captain): "Definitely, it was an excellent match. We didn't chase in the last few games, happy with the performance.

Yes, I am very happy. Really excited with the way the boys played. If we lose, we would have been out of the qualification race.

We came close in the last few games but we didn't win. We had to bounce back strongly and that is what we did, to learn from the previous mistakes."
Player of the Match: Mehidy Hasan Miraz
Ariful Haque (Sylhet Strikers Captain): "We tried hard to win this game, and while our top order performed well, the lower order fell short. You need to excel in all three aspects of the game if you want to secure a win. We got off to a good start, but if we had finished well, we would have definitely crossed 200 runs. However, such things happen in cricket. No, 152 is not enough on this pitch."
9:39 PM IST & 10:09 PM Local Time: That's the end of an exciting contest here in Chattogram. It went down to the wire but William Bosisto was ice cool under pressure in the last over and smoked the penultimate ball of the match over the fence to get his team over the line.

Earlier in the game, Sylhet Strikes won the toss and opted to bat. They posted a decent total of 152/9 from their quota of 20 overs.

George Munsey played a fine knock, scoring a half-century. He made 58 off 32. Zakir Hasan gave him good support and made 44 run off just 32 balls.

The middle order fell like a pack of cards. Only Sumon Khan managed to get to double figures apart from Munsey and Zakir.

Abu Hider, Hasan Mahmud and Salman Irshad picked up two wickets each while Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Aamir Jamal and Nasum Ahmed bagged one apiece.

In reply, Khulna skipper Mehidy Hasan and Mohammad Naim Sheikh got the team off to a solid start. They put on a 65-run stand in just 7 overs. Naim was the first one to depart as he fell for 20 off 17.

Mehidy continued to put the pressure back on the bowlers and in the process, got to a fine half-century.

Afif Hossain failed with the bat, losing his wicket for just three runs. Alex Ross came out to bat at number four and gave Mehidy some support after Khulna had lost two quick wickets.

Mehidy lost his wicket for 70 off 50 but Mahidul Islam came out and played a quick-fire knock of 17 off 13 before being dismissed to keep the momentum going.

William Bosisto and Alex Ross steered them home with a ball to spare. It went a bit too close in the end but Bosisto held his nerves and finished the game with a bang.

Nihaduzzaman picked up two wickets while Sumon Khan and Samiullah Shinwari bagged one apiece but it wasn't enough as Sylhet succumbed to their 7th defeat of the season. Stay tuned for the post-match presentation.

What a hit under pressure by William Bosisto. He finishes the game off in style.
19.5 R Topley to W Bosisto
6 SIX! WOW! Bosisto finishes things in style! Great use of the wrists from the right-hander! Fuller length at the middle and leg stump. In the slot for the batter. Bosisto whips it hard over deep mid-wicket for a biggie to seal the game. Khulna Tigers win by 6 wickets on the penultimate ball of the match.
