That's all from this high-scoring thriller, folks! We hope you enjoyed our coverage. For now, it's me Deepak Prakash signing off on behalf of scorer/analyst Yogesh Kumar. CHEERS!
Mehidy Hasan Miraz (Khulna Tigers Captain): "Yeah, definitely, it was an excellent match. They played really well, and the credit goes to Bijoy for the way he batted. Our bowlers did well in key overs, which turned the game in our favor. Defending 17 runs in the final over is no easy task, but Hasan did an outstanding job. Afif and Bosisto played really well after two set batters fell in quick succession and added a 100-plus runs partnership, setting the tone for a high total. We didn't get a win in the last four games but definitely, we are in a good position after this win."
Hasan Mahmud (Player of the Match): "I’m happy to receive this award. The wicket, particularly at night, is very tough to bowl on, but we executed our plans well. We’ve been going through a tough time, but it’s a team game, and everyone gave their best effort to contribute."

Time for the post-match presentation....
Anamul Haque (Durbar Rajshahi Captain): "My team, especially Jishan, batted very well in the early stages, and Harris gave us a strong start as well. I tried to play my natural game today because of their efforts. It was a high-scoring game, and the wicket played really well. I’m very sorry to my team. I tried hard, but unfortunately, we couldn’t finish on the winning side.

Everyone knows that bowling is our main concern, particularly the execution—how to bowl effectively in these conditions and on this kind of wicket. The same applies to our batting unit as well. One boundary shot can make a difference, and it’s definitely an exciting game for the spectators who have come to witness this beautiful match."
9:49 PM IST, 10:19 PM Local Time: Anamul Haque's century went in vain as Durbar Rajshahi fell short in their chase of 209 runs, losing this thrilling contest by 7 runs. After losing four consecutive games, the Khulna Tigers have finally ended their losing streak.

Earlier, after opting to bat first, Mohammad Naim (27) and Mehidy Hasan Miraz (26) provided a rollicking start to the Khulna Tigers, adding 42 runs for the opening wicket. However, Durbar Rajshahi staged a comeback and removed three wickets in quick succession including both openers.

After losing both set openers, Afif Hossain and William Bosisto paired up in the middle and started building the partnership. The duo kept the scoreboard moving at a decent pace and notched up their respective fifties on the occasion. However, Taskin trapped Afif for 56 runs and broke the 100+ runs partnership between the duo. Mahidul Islam Ankon came out all guns blazing and smashed an unbeaten 30 runs off just 12 balls, while Bosisto remained unbeaten on 55 runs, helping the Tigers cross the 200-run mark with ease.

Taskin Ahmed bagged a couple of wickets for Rajshahi, while Jishan Alam celebrated a solitary wicket.

In pursuit of a hefty 209 runs, Jishan Alam came out all guns blazing and smashed 30 runs off just 15 balls. He added 47 runs for the first wicket along with Mohammad Haris, but the latter could only muster 15 runs.

Anamul Haque and Yasir Ali paired up in the middle, with Anamul scoring briskly from the outset to maintain a healthy run rate. The partnership between the two crossed the 50-run mark, but Yasir struggled to find his rhythm and was dismissed after scoring 20 runs off 17 balls.

Anamul Haque continued his fine form, keeping his side in contention with some stupendous hitting. He forged a 50+ run partnership with Ryan Burl (25), who fell at a critical juncture, marking a turning point in the game. With 17 runs needed off the final 6 balls, Hasan Mahmud held his nerve to seal the match for his side with a 7-run victory. Skipper Anamul notched up his maiden BPL century but, unfortunately, couldn’t carry his team over the line.

Hasan Mahmud bagged a couple of wickets for the Tigers, while
Abu Hider, and Salman Irshad celebrated a solitary wicket.

Stay tuned for the presentation....
