That's all we have for you from this live coverage between Fortune Barishal and Chittagong Kings. It's a double header today on Super Sunday as the second game will begin pretty soon!

For now, this is Pritam Dey signing off along with scorer/analyst Yogesh Kumar as we brought all the actions of this clash. Stay tuned for more cricketing action from around the world. CHEERS!
Tamim Iqbal (Fortune Barishal Captain): "Yeah definitely, I thought firstly our bowlers bowled really really wicket in this wicket. We were confused during the toss whether to bat or bowl first.

It was a tricky wicket to be honest. In the second innings it got better to bat. In a game like this, chasing 120, we wanted to attack early in order to take the game away from them but we failed to do so. We lost couple of wickets and failed to score runs so that's why the pressure was there.

Yes absolutely, the ground staff have done a fantastic job so far in this tournament. By far this season's wicket has been one of the best in BPL over the last couple of years. Still we enjoyed our time today and happy to get over the line."
Dawid Malan (Player of the Match): "Yeah it wasn't the easiest of day games out here. It usually get a bit slower but thankfully, we restricted them to 120. If we had to chase down 140 then probably we had to attack a bit earlier in our innings. All credit to our bowlers for restricting them to 120.

Yeah this wicket was a lot slower. We lost wickets at crucial times and we wanted to take it deep. So that's why the partnership was important.

Yeah, Nabi bhai came in and took the pressure away from me. I enjoyed batting with him today and happy that we comfortably chased it down."

Time for the Post-Match Presentation!
Mohammad Mithun (Chittagong Kings Captain): "Yeah it was not a 200-run wicket. I feel 150 was a competitive total here but we lost too many wickets in the powerplay. These kind of match, Barishal are a big team, we have to step up in big games.

Yeah definitely, bowlers did really well throughout the tournament. Today also they gave us some hope to defend this low total. I think in the 2nd innings, the wicket played a bit better and 121 was not enough at all.

Yes definitely, in T20 match, the recovery time is very less. So we have to step up in the next match."
4:20 PM IST & 4:50 PM Local Time| Fortune Barishal delivered a commanding performance, defeating Chittagong Kings by 6 wickets with 19 balls to spare. The Tamim Iqbal-led side stays in 2nd spot, just behind Rangpur Riders!

The Chittagong Kings endured a dismal start after being sent in to bat, collapsing dramatically despite a brisk cameo from Usman Khan. They lost half their side within the powerplay, plunging into deep trouble early on.

A brief recovery came through a 31-run partnership for the 7th wicket between Mohammad Mithun and Arafat Sunny. However, Mithun’s dismissal while attempting to accelerate further stalled their progress, allowing Barishal to maintain their stranglehold.

On a surface assisting the spinners, Tamim Iqbal led his side effectively in the field. Arafat Sunny provided some late resistance, finishing unbeaten on 27 off 34 balls, as the Kings could only post a modest total of 121/8 in 20 overs.

Ripon Mondol (3/23) and Faheem Ashraf (3/12) were outstanding with the ball, leading the charge for Fortune Barishal and ensuring the Kings had a challenging day at the office.

In reply, Fortune Barishal also did not get off to a good start with the bat. A terrible mix-up between the two openers, led to the dismissal of Tamim Iqbal. Towhid Hridoy was dismissed for a low score as well inside the powerplay.

Mushfiqur Rahim and Mahmudullah Riyad, the experienced campaigners, got decent starts but threw away their wickets with unnecessary rash shots, putting the team in a tricky situation.

Dawid Malan (56*) and Mohammad Nabi (26*) came to the rescue for Fortune Barishal, stitching an unbeaten 69-run partnership to take their side to a comfortable 6-wicket victory with 19 balls to spare. Stay tuned for the Post-Match Presentation!
