That's all from this one-sided contest, folks! For now, it's me Deepak Prakash signing off on behalf of co-commentator Arjun Bhalla and scorer/analyst Yogesh Kumar. CHEERS!
Anamul Haque (Durbar Haque Captain): "Definitely, it was an important game for us, and the boys made a strong comeback.

The batters fell 20 runs short of the desired score, but the bowlers did a fantastic job. Sunzamul Islam was under pressure, but he bowled really well to bag the Player of the Match. Mrittunjoy Chowdhury, Aflab Alam and Taskin Ahmed also bowled well today.

Batting is a concern, but these batters have scored runs. I think our batters have getting 40s, but they need to convert it into a big one. If someone settles in, he needs to bat for 70s and 80s."
Sunzamul Islam (Player of the Match): "Obviously, after a long time, I’ve performed well, and it feels great knowing my performance contributed to the team’s victory. The plan was to use pace variations, as the ball was turning when it landed on the seam. I focused on taking wickets rather than being economical, and the plan worked perfectly for me."
Player of the Match: Sunzamul Islam
Time for the post-game presentation!
Ariful Haque (Sylhet Strikers Captain): "We are still in contention for the semifinals, but if we continue to lose like this, it will become difficult for us. While our bowlers performed well, our batters couldn't deliver. We played a bit slow in this match and the run rate crept up and then we lost wickets in clusters."
4:52 PM IST, 5:22 PM Local Time: Taskin puts the final nail in the coffin, and Durbar Rajshahi win by a big margin of 65 runs, moving to the top four on the points table.

Earlier, after opting to bat first, Mohammad Haris (19) and Jishan Alam (20) gave Durbar Rajshahi a steady start, adding 29 runs for the opening wicket. Anamul Haque (32) and Yasir Ali (19) contributed valuable runs in the middle order, but it was Ryan Burl’s impressive 27-ball 41 that set the tone for a formidable total. Mrittunjoy Chowdhury’s 6-ball 12 runs at the tail end propelled the Rajshahi to 184/7 in 20 overs.

Ruyel Miah shone with the ball for the Strikers, claiming three wickets, while Nahidul Islam and Nihaduzzaman celebrated a couple of wickets each.

In response to 184 runs, Sylhet Strikers lost both their openers, Rony Talukdar (4) and Paul Stirling (2), in single digits. Zakir Hasan (39) and George Munsey (20) took their time to settle on the crease, but when it came time to step on the gas, the two set batters departed in quick succession.

Following the dismissal of both set batters, the Strikers lost total control of the match as they lost wickets at regular intervals. Jaker Ali delivered a cameo of 31 runs, but it was too late by then, and the Strikers were eventually folded for 119 runs in 17.3 overs.

Sunzamul Islam topped the wicket chart for the Rajshahi, grabbing three wickets. Taskin Ahmed, Mrittunjoy Chowdhury, and Aftab Alam chipped in with a couple of wickets each, while Mark Deyal contributed one wicket to the downfall.

Stay tuned for the presentation.....
