Tamim Iqbal (Fortune Barishal Captain): "Great, great, great. Absolutely brilliant game. Itās unfortunate that we came last, but a lot of credit has to go to Nurul Hasan. I thought the way he batted was unbelievableā26 off the last over.
I thought we did pretty well with the bat, especially considering we didn't have a great first two or three overs. I was struggling a bit, but then the way Shanto and Mayers batted was brilliant. I thought the run rate was absolutely fine on this wicket. They batted extremely well, and you have to give it to them.
I thought the whole game was one of those that build tournaments. Iām hurt, but Iām also happy that the tournament is going well. A lot of credit has to go to the groundsmen for the way theyāve prepared the wickets."

Both openers fell in the 11th over as Kamrul Islam Rabbi made an immediate impact with two wickets in his first over. Kyle Mayers, meanwhile, carried on his fine form from the previous game. He had a huge slice of luck when a schoolboy error from the Riders saw six fielders positioned outside the 30-yard circle, gifting Mayers a crucial reprieve.
The West Indian punished the Rangpur Riders for their mistake, staying unbeaten till the end and top-scoring with a blistering 61* off 29 balls.
