That's all we have for you from this live coverage between Rangpur Riders and Sylhet Strikers. The Riders continue their 100% record this season.

For now, this is Pritam Dey signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Arjun Bhalla who, along with scorer/analyst Dushyant Madhukar Kumar brought all the actions of this clash. Stay tuned for more cricketing action from around the world. CHEERS!
Nurul Hasan (Rangpur Riders Captain): "Yeah, you know, Alex and Saif batted really well and the wicket was really good.

We talked about the wicket and it played brilliantly. We know that we have proper batters who can bat long and in the middle overs, we were discussing that if we can stay at the crease, we can chase it easily.

Well before the Toss I discussed with the Coaches what to do with the toss and we decided to chase because of one side was small so we wanted to target that side.

Thank you. Looking forward to tomorrow's game and it was a very good crowd today."
Alex Hales (Player of the Match): "Yeah, I enjoyed my time. It was a very nice wicket and short boundaries, so I enjoyed my time. Saif Hassan was brilliant.

As I said, the ground was small, and Saif backed me well. He took on the left-arm spinner and played some nice pull strokes.

I love coming to Bangladesh, and the wicket here in Sylhet suited me here. Thanks & cheers!"

Ariful Haque (Sylhet Strikers Captain): "Well our batting was really good. We finished off the innings really well but we did not bowl well at all. Cant blame the batters, we did not bowl well today.

The wicket was so good that if you miss your mark, you will get dispatched. So we did not bowl well as a unit.

The surface was getting easier under lights so the slower balls were not working as well for us today."
4:21 PM IST & 4:51 PM Local Time| What a thrilling run-fest at Sylhet! Alex Hales and Saif Hassan delivered a masterclass in chasing, putting together an extraordinary match-winning partnership. Rangpur Riders continue their 100% record in this season and have hammered the Sylhet Strikers by 8 wickets!

The Sylhet Strikers made full use of a fresh batting paradise as they started their innings with intent. Openers Rony Talukdar and George Munsey gave the team a flying start, making the most of the powerplay. The pair added 47 runs for the first wicket before Akif Javed provided the breakthrough, dismissing Munsey for 18. Rony continued to anchor the innings, setting the platform for a big total.

The Sylhet Strikers kept the scoreboard ticking with crucial partnerships for every wicket, ensuring the momentum remained on their side. Rony Talukdar played a brilliant knock, scoring 54, while Zakir Hasan matched his effort with a composed 50. Their partnership in the middle overs steadied the ship and laid a solid foundation for the team. With the platform well set, the Strikers were primed for an explosive finish in the death overs.

Jaker Ali (20* off 5) and Aaron Jones (38* off 19) unleashed a stunning assault in the final overs, adding a blistering 34 runs off just 9 deliveries for the 5th wicket. Their fireworks ensured the Sylhet Strikers crossed the 200-run mark, ending their innings on a commanding total of 205/4 from their 20 overs. Mohammad Saifuddin (2/31) was the pick of the bowler’s for the Riders.

In reply, Tanzim Hasan Sakib struck early and dismissed Azizul Hakim for a DUCK. Alex Hales was joined by Saif Hassan at the middle and they were simply unstoppable. Both batters took full advantage of the perfect conditions at Sylhet and built a commanding partnership. They were aggressive from the outset, hitting the ball cleanly through the line and accelerating at the right moments.

Hales, with his power and timing, and Saif, with his smart stroke play, kept the asking rate in check while taking calculated risks. The Strikers’ bowlers had no answers as the duo piled on the runs, bringing Rangpur Riders closer to their target with each passing over.

The Strikers simply couldn’t find a way to break their partnership, and the game slipped away from them. Even though Tanzim finally broke the partnership, it was already too late for the Strikers to make a comeback. Alex Hales (113*) was in a class of his own, registering his second BPL hundred and finishing the game in style with back-to-back sixes.

A dominant 8-wicket victory for Rangpur Riders, who continue their unbeaten run this season. Stay tuned for the Post-Match Presentation!
