After losing the toss and put into bat first, Tom Kohler-Cadmore and Kusal Mendis opened the innings for Jaffna Titans. TKC could only add 10 from 10 balls before he was dismissed by Isuru Udana. Charith Asalanka looked good on the crease for his 17 from 11 balls. Kusal Mendis again played a valiant knock and scored 47 from 25 balls. Tom Abell played a quick fire knock of 23 from 12 balls. Skipper David Wiese remained unbeaten on 18* from 5 balls. They posted a score of 124/4 in 10 overs.
For Hambantota Bangla Tigers, Only Isuru Udana and Tharindu Ratnayake could manage to pick one wicket each in the innings.
Chasing a target of 125 runs on the board, Mohammad Shahzad and Kusal Perera opened the innings for Hambantota Bangla Tigers.
