It has been a terrible day for the cricket fans as they couldn't get the chance to witness even one complete match. The weather has kept us on tenterhooks for the greater part of the tournament so far but it isn't something that we can control. Both the Colombo Jaguars and the Hambantota Bangla Tigers will be disappointed but they can only hope to get some game time as we come back tomorrow again.

8:32 PM IST and Local Time- It's still raining out there in the middle and it will take a long time for the ground staff to get the ground ready even if it stops raining right now. The cut off time for getting a game is 9:40 PM IST and Local Time.
8:24 PM IST and Local Time- The ground is still firmly under covers and the toss continues to remain delayed. The next update is scheduled at 8:30 PM IST and Local Time. However given that the ground has been under covers for almost three hours now, it will be a miracle if we get any action at all.

The inaugural edition's Lanka T10 Super League moves into the third game of its third day. Colombo Jaguars face Hambantota Bangla Tigers at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in the 9th match of the tournament on Friday (December 13).
Both Colombo and Hambantota have had similar starts in this T10 tournament. These two have lost a game and played a rain-curtailed fixture in this competition.
The Dasun Shanaka-led side was dismantled by the Jaffna Titans in the opening fixture of the season. Batting first, Dasun Shanaka's 17-ball 51 took them to 106/8. However, the opposition upbeat them in the chase by getting over the line in just 8.1 overs. Meanwhile, their last game was abandoned due to rigorous rains in Pallekele.
On the other hand, Angelo Mathews' Jaguars bowled 6 overs in their opening game before rain had its last say. However, in their subsequent fixture, Colombo went down against the Jaffna Titans in a chase of 139 runs. Batting first, Charith Asalanka's 56 took the Titans to a mighty score. However, the Colombo batters failed in the second innings as they lost the game by 40 runs.
