Harleen Deol (POTM): "Definitely, a proud moment for me, was waiting for it for a long time. Enjoying it. Actually, when I came into bat, I had that much time. I knew the more I play, the more shots I play, that is what was on my mind.
When you are batting well, you are batting well, there is nothing special in it. It is always easy, no matter in which position you are batting. I was thinking about continuing that flow.
Definitely, it means a lot to me. Scoring the century was special and the ultimate goal was to make my team win.
For me, it is the first one. I don't know about the scrappy ones. For me, one or two shots did not come off. My partners told me not to go for them and I listened to them."
Player of the Match: Harleen Deol
Harmanpreet Kaur (India Women Captain):"Yeah definitely, I think what we were expecting from the surface, it played out the same. We exactly executed our plans. The openers put up a 100-run partnership, Harleen and Jemi were brilliant with the bat once again.
In the second innings, the way Hayley was batting, it certainly looked like it was a really good batting wicket.
Well I think we had a decent bowling attack. The way our bowlers were bowling, I had the trust that we will win this game. We leaked a few runs but Deepti came back into the attack and took the big wicket. Really happy with the performance."
Hayley Matthews (West Indies Women Captain): "Didn't expect us to chase 259 after the first innings. I think not everyone can chase over 350. Kudos to them for the last few matches. We have to bowl well, restrict them and take wickets as well.
This series is very important for us. Those two points are very crucial for us (for the direct qualification for the World Cup). If we win our remaining four matches, we have a chance to qualify directly.
(On plans for the last game of the tour) I think rest up tomorrow, enjoy the Christmas and get back to the job.
(On her century) It was bitter-sweet, to be honest. Good to perform for the team but sad that I could not get the team over the line. Good to spend time in the middle and hopefully can use that in the next match."
Time for the Post-Match Presentation!
Pratika Rawal: "Actually the batting I think. (On what pleased her the most tonight)
Nothing much. I just think, I did the same what I did in the previous game. I wanted to play every ball to its merit.
I wanted to watch the ball closely and if any delivery is in my arc, I wanted to hit it very hard.
I actually worked out a lot in the nets. There was some change done by Amol sir. He changed my grip and it worked out well for me.
I was told in the practice session that I might be asked to bowl. I bowled and I am happy that I picked up a couple of wickets.
