That would be all from our side as our live coverage of this Abu Dhabi T10 game between Team Abu Dhabi and NY Strikers comes to an end.
For now, it's Arjun Bhalla signing off on behalf of Soumarya Dutta and our Scorer/Analyst Zeeshan Naiyar. See you soon!
Kieron Pollard (NY Strikers Captain): "I am very pleased with this victory. You always step onto the field to win; yesterday was a hard day. You need to give it to Deccan Gladiators; they are a good team.
I am pleased with the way the bowlers started off today. It was lovely to watch Amir bowl. The way the boys batted was brilliant. Yesterday, after the game, we had a short chat with the team.
We discussed to get through the tough period and then take on the bowling. You need to understand that this format is different, but you are just one or two hits away from a good total here. Cheers!"
Mohammad Amir (New York Strikers)- " It was a must win game for us to remain in the competition. It was a perfect team effort and we did that for the first time in the tournament. I was just looking to execute my plans correctly. It's about reading the mindset of the batter. I try to look for swing or seam accordingly.
To be honest, there isn't much time to think and the margin for error is also very less. I was in two minds about the hattrick ball and in the end bowled the delivery which I felt was the best suited. "
Player of the Match- Mohammad Amir
Power Hitter of the Match- Kusal Perera

The Post Match Presentation is about to begin!
6:29 PM IST and 4:59 PM Local Time: A clinical victory for the New York Strikers as they have won their second match of the season. A hard day at the office for Team Abu Dhabi as they get crushed by 10 wickets in the first match of the day.
Earlier in the day, Kieron Pollard won the toss and asked the bowlers to exploit the conditions. The Strikers did a fantastic job with the ball, snapping regular wickets in the first innings. None of the Abu Dhabi batters could stand still against them, as they lost half of their side in the first five overs.
At last, Kyle Mayers - after struggling against Pathirana - got a few out of the park to take his side's score to 73/7 with his 38* off 30 balls.
Chasing the modest score of 74 runs, Kusal Perera and Evin Lewis came out all guns blazing. The Lankan swashbuckler played the role of an aggressor as he led the attack with the bat, while Lewis was a mere spectator. Nevertheless, they shared 74 runs for the first wicket, with Perera hitting a fifty and the latter scoring just 17 off them.
In the end, the NYS have won their second game of the season to move to fifth spot. Team Abu Dhabi are still on the third place despite today's hard luck.
