That would be all from our side! For now, it's Arjun Bhalla taking your leave on behalf of my co-commentator Saptak Sanyal and our Scorer/Analyst Raju Khariya. See you soon!
Kieron Pollard(New York Strikers Captain): "I think we have played a lot of matches and it is more than anybody else. Good to have everyone together and executing the plans.

The bowlers have bowled pretty consistent and we kept the plans too simple. There's no right or wrong formula to win this game. For bowling perspective, bowlers gonna fly but staying disciplined is a good way to go. Akeal bowled well, Narine was well. Brevis and Donovan did well to hit some boundaries."
Akeal Hosein (Player of the Match): "I think the first I like about this tournament it is short and sharp. At the day of the day, it is cricket. Everything is the same as any other format. Reece Topley gave us a great start, and the rest of us followed the suite."
Player of the Match: Akeal Hosein
Power Hitter of the Match: Donovan Ferreira

Time for the post-match presentations.
6:34 PM IST and 5:04 PM Local Time | New York Strikers have registered a very comfortable victory over Bangla Tigers by 7 wickets and with 24 balls to go.

Bangla Tigers came to bat first and Zazai took them off the mark with a maximum. But Zazai and Shahzad failed to score runs as they departed for 8 and 1 respectively. Iftikhar Ahmed, Liam Livingstone also failed. Dasun Shanaka and Shakib Al Hasan were on the rebuild and they registered a 18-run partnership between them. Shanaka got out for 22 off 19 balls with two maximums. After him, Rashid Khan, Lukman Faisal departed cheaply. Shakib had all eyes on him as he started well but failed to take on Pathirana and got out on 19 from 12 balls. David Payne finished with a maximum to take the score to 66.

For the New York Strikers, Reece Topley, Akeal Hosein and Mohammad Amir took a wicket each. They all were economical. Pathirana was a tad expensive but he took a wicket with Sunil Narine taking the same number of wicket.

Coming to chase the run, NY Strikers were given a lot of extras in form of wides and no-balls. Brevis got a life due to a no-ball and he registered 34 runs for the opening stand with Evin Lewis in the first two overs. Lewis scored 9 before departing. Rashid Khan and Shakib restricted the run flow but it was not enough. Dewald Brevis scored 19 from 15 balls. Liam Livingstone came to bowl the 6th over and Akeal-Ferreira pair thrashed him for 18 runs to clinch the victory.

For Bangla Tigers, Shakib Al Hasan took a couple of wickets and Imran Khan took a wicket.
