That's all from our coverage of the second ODI of the ongoing 3-match series between Zimbabwe and Afghanistan. After the first ODI got washed out, Afghanistan have defeated the hosts by a mammoth margin of 232 runs. We will head on to the third ODI the day after tomorrow and it will be the decider one.
For now, this is Saptak Sanyal signing off on behalf of my co-commentators Deepak Prakash and Arjun Bhalla and our scorer/analyst Asraj Khan.

Hashmatullah Shahidi (Afghanistan Captain):"Very impressed with the way the openers batted. We outclassed them in all the departments. Happy with the performance.
When we batted and I was also batting, the ball was not coming properly to bat. We knew 287 was a good total but we had to do a good job with the ball. Because you can't relax in cricket until the final result is obtained.
The biggest plus in this team is that the boys are doing really well. They are giving 100% in every department. We have the Champion's Trophy in just a couple of months and hope we play well in that tournament. It is indeed a good series ahead of the Champion's Trophy. It is a proud moment for us to get a victory by this margin."
Sediqullah Atal (Player of the Match): "First of all, I’m very thankful to my dear Allah, my family, and my teammates for their constant support and belief in me. I’m very happy with my own performance and, most importantly, the team’s performance in winning such a fantastic game of cricket.
Yeah, the wickets weren’t that easy for batting, especially in the first innings. But Malik and I managed really well. We communicated a lot about how to approach the conditions and supported each other throughout. That’s why we performed well, and our team delivered a strong performance.
I had a poor series in T20s, so I knew I needed to take my time and properly assess the conditions. I got a bit nervous in the 90s because scoring a maiden international hundred is always special, and that’s why the nerves kicked in."

Craig Ervine (Zimbabwe Captain):"Certainly I thought it was a good pitch and we have some chances. But credit goes to them for constructing their innings. Afghanistan bowlers were brilliant with the ball.
I think he [Newman Nyamhuri] is a bright kid for the future. He is a good bowler. Maposa has injured himself. I don't know how bad the injury it is. It is pretty unfortunate for him to pick up an injury in his debut. I hope he recovers as early as possible."
Time for the post-match presentations.
