For now, this is Aditya Agarwal signing off on behalf of Karthik and our scorer/analyst Vishnu Verma. BYE , CHEERS!!
Nurul Hasan (Rangpur Riders Captain) : "When we lost early wickets, we discussed that 120 would be a good score on this wicket. We just talked about following the process and not worrying much about the result. We came back strong after losing 3-4 quick wickets. We lost 2-3 close matches and that is how cricket is. We would have been on top of the table if the results went our way."
Imran Tahir (Guyana Amazon Warriors Captain): "We dropped him a couple of times (About dropping Khushdil Shah). If we are not getting 118, have to look at ourselves in the mirror. It is such a poor performance from a professional side. We have got so many international players. Quite sad about it."
Khushdil Shah (POTM): "We lost four early wickets and I was in the crease in the third over itself. Looked to bat ball by ball. Tried to get a feel of the wicket. I was trying to bat till the end and get the team to a total of 110-120. After 10 overs, I felt that I could take on my match-ups. I got a few boundaries and that helped us to move forward. I was talking with the captain that the pitch is double-paced and it wasn't easy to take singles. On this type of wicket, it is one of my best knocks in league cricket."
Player of the Match - Khushdil Shah
Kamrul Islam Rabbi gets the 'Guyana Power Move' award for his first over which fetched three wickets.
