Milestone
So, that also brings an end to our coverage of this game between the Rangpur Riders and Victoria. For now, this is me Hiren Kumar signing off on behalf of my co-commentator AkshayaKrishna Polya and scorer/analyst Chandan Kr Singh. CHEERS!
Corey Anderson (Victoria Captain): "Climbing to the top very quickly than expected. I am happy with the performance. The boys have played well. They held their composure nicely. We didn't overthink.

The ball slid on with the new ball. We kept things simple. We tried to take singles and put away the bad balls. The wicket becomes difficult for stroke-making.

That is the thing. We need to be calm. We need to wait and weather the storm. The boys were excellent. They held their nerves and bowled well. We were in a tough position when a couple of partnerships were going on earlier. But we got the job done.

A couple of young boys have been brilliant. Stow was one of them. He has been good. A few half-trackers, but in this kind of wickets, you do get rewards for those (chuckles). The core is more than valuable. We are elated."
Nurul Hasan (Rangpur Riders Captain): "You know, we were close in the last match as well. You haven't learnt our lessons. The middle order didn't turn up again.

Soumya batted well. Taylor, too, played well in the powerplay. We know that when the ball gets old, the batters need to rotate the strike, which we didn't.

I know the wicket looks a bit spinning and stopping. When the ball gets old, the batting becomes difficult, and the ball keeps low. We didn't rotate well, but our spinners bowled well."
Callum Stow (Player of the Match): "It was about to keep the things simple. It was a good all round job and happy with the win. My plan was pretty simple and I was looking to bowl it into the stumps. It was a good surface and was slightly slower. It is good to start with 2 wins in the tournament. Thank you."

Time for Presentations.
10:55 PM IST and 1:25 PM Local Time: Back-to-back victories for Cricket Victoria in the inaugural edition of the Global Super League! They win a nail-biting thriller against Rangpur Riders by 10 runs and stay firmly at the top! The Nurul Hasan-led side is not having luck by their side, losing two consecutive cliffhangers!

Put into bat first, Victorian openers Blake Macdonald and Joe Clarke set the stage on fire, taking full advantage of the new ball and field restrictions. The number 3 Sanjay Krishnamurthi, too, looked good with his classy strokeplay, and the top-order set a solid platform.

A few wickets fell at the backend, but Scott Edwards brought his experience in play and played the field really well to provide the finishing touch to the side, propelling Victoria to a competitive 151/6 in 20 overs.

Spinners - Rishad Hossain, Mahedi Hossain and Khushdil Shah - were on the spot with their execution and kept Victoria's middle order in check.

Soumya Sarkar and Steven Taylor replicated what the opposition did earlier and gave the Riders a flying start before the Victoria spinners and pacers used the pitch in their favour, bowling slow and cutters into the surface. Sarkar scored a good half-century but was out at the wrong time, with the rest of the batting order struggling to get the timing right on a tricky wicket.

Callum Stow, the chinaman, stole the show for the Australian unit and rattled the Riders with a three-wicket spell. Dominic Drakes, Corey Anderson and Max Birthisel choked the opponents with clever variations. Anderson kept his nerves and bowled an excellent final over with Riders needing 17 to win.

Stay tuned for the post-match presentation...
