Milestone
That's it from the coverage of Qualifier 1 of Legends League Cricket 2024. We will be back tomorrow for the Eliminator Clash between India Capitals and Toyam Hyderabad. Stay tuned to our network for more cricketing actions across the globe and across formats.

For now, this is Ayan Chatterjee signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Aditya Agarwal alongside scorer/analyst Zeeshan Naiyer. Stay safe, happy, and cool. Goodnight and CHEERS!
Kedar Jadhav (Southern Super Stars Captain): "Yes, definitely. Throughout the tournament, the team is doing it professionally especially the bowlers. The pitch helps the fast bowlers and spinners. Batting first was hard. Winning the toss was crucial and we did well in powerplay to keep them under 150.

Priviledge to have Hamid in our team and others as well. The auction was important and the owners did the hard work. Yes, we have 4-5 people who can bat and bowl. The spin all rounders get help and we hope to do well.

As retired cricketers, everyday is a holiday. Enjoying our time here. Thank You."
Hamilton Masakadza ( Legend of the Match ) - "I was thinking and manifesting my knock. I just wanted to stay still and access all parts of the ground.I have enjoyed my time here in Srinagar. The boundaries here are quite small and that has helped me somewhat in scoring runs."
Legend of the Match - Hamilton Masakadza
Irfan Pathan (Konark Suryas Captain): "Yes, it was the difference. We did well to get to 148. But then Kevon Cooper did not bowl and we were a bowler short. We could have fought better. Levi and I and Yusuf played well. Credit to Southern Super Stars.

I had to switch gears a little bit and did well. We could have fought better. Quick turnaround did not help, but not an excuse.

But we have one bite in the cherry and we hope to do better and reach the finals. Back day after tomorrow for our next game."
Time for the presentations.
06:38 PM IST and Local Time| Southern Super Stars seal their spot in the finale as they cruise past Konark Suryas Odisha with 7 wickets remaining.

Here's a review of what happened in the match.

Earlier, Southern Super Stars won the toss and put Konark Suryas Odisha to bat first. Batting first, they had a horrific start to the powerplay as they ended with a score of 32/4.

Richard Levi and Irfan Pathan then put up a steady 45 run partnership for the fifth wicket and steadied the ship for their side.

Irfan Pathan(62 off 47) then continued his onslaught and notched up a well made 61 run partnership with his brother Yusuf Pathan(43 off 21) and the duo helped their side to post a formidable score of 148/8.

Hamid Hassan and Abdur Razzak were brilliant with the new ball, they were equally well supported by Kedar Jadhav and Subodh Bhati in the middle overs as all of them bagged 2 wickets apiece.

Chasing 149, Southern Super Stars lost their star opener Martin Guptill itself in the first over on a score of 4 runs. Hamilton Masakadza and Shreevats Goswami then joined hands together and notched up a solid 82 run stand for the second wicket and gave their side an upper hand in the game.

Shreevats Goswami got out after scoring 23 off 27. Hamilton Masakadza continued his onslaught and went on to bring up his fifty.

Pawan Negi (40* off 20) walked in at 4 and smashed the leather from ball 1 and made sure there aren't any hiccups in the chase, he and Hamilton Masakadza(67 off 49) made sure that their side got over the line with 7 wickets remaining and 16 balls to spare.

Stay tuned for the presentation coming up shortly!
THAT'S IT!! Southern Super Stars have stormed their way into the finale of Legends League Cricket 2024.
17.3 K Appanna to P Negi

No ball is called by the umpire and the game is done and dusted here. The Southern Super Stars win this game by 7 wickets and directly go into the finals. Konark Suryas Odisha will have a second chance in Qualifier 2 on Monday night.
