That’s all from today’s live coverage of the 25th Match of Super Smash 2024/25 between Northern Brave and Otago Volts.

I’m Gourav Samal, signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Saptak Sanyal and scorer/analyst Bishal Mandal who brought all the live details of this match for you. Stay tuned for all cricketing actions around the world. Thank You. Good Bye.
Jeet Raval (Northern Brave Captain): "I thought we had enough balls in the bank so I didn't panic too much. Batters did really well and we got home. We are up for two more games at Christchurch and Wellington. I hope we replicate what we have done today.

Composure comes to your mind when you chase a low total. Boy showed composure and calmness to get us through. Absolutely it will be nice to carry forward the momentum."
Luke Georgeson (Otago Volts Captain)- "Yes, we had our moment in the game. We started well in the game but fell short of 25 runs. If we could have added those runs then the match would have been more contesting. It was also a very good wicket to bat. The pitch was also very helpful for the spinners."
Robert O'Donnell (Game Changer of the Match): "Little bit of surprise but nice to get the job done. Kats (Katene Clarke) has a lot of faith in his game. He has done everything to keep us in the game. We know what power he possesses.

This game was nice. Nice to play well in the rank turner. It was a bowlers game more for us. They bowled well and restricted the Volts to a cheap score and that has helped us."

4 FOURRRRR! That is job done for the Northern Brave. A full delivery at the off stump. Katene stays leg side of it and whacks it through the covers and beats the fielder and that's the victory for them.
