That will be all from our side as we close out our coverage of this Super Smash game between the Otago Volts and the Wellington Firebirds. For now, it will be myself, Soumarya Dutta, signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Hiren and our Scorer/Analyst Ghanendra Singh Thakur. See you soon!
Matt Bacon (Player of the Match): "Good to contribute for the side. I was looking to bowl it straight and into the stumps. Michael Bracewell is one of the best hitters in the country and it was good to get his wicket. Yes, it was a knuckle ball (on Abbas's wicket). Thank you."

Welcome to the post match presentations.
12:15 PM IST and 7:45 PM Local Time- The Otago Volts have pulled off an absolute heist here and they've beaten the Wellington Firebirds by 15 runs. The Firebirds have been bowled out for 149 runs in just 18.4 overs and it seemed impossible at one stage when Michael Bracewell was still out there batting. A terrible collapse at the fag end of the innings saw the Wellington side being bowled even without playing their full quota of 20 overs.

The Otago Volts had a great start to the powerplay with the ball and they picked up four wickets in it. Hazeldine was on fire early on as he picked up both the national team players, Robinson and Blundell. Nick Kelly was dismissed by Georgeson while Troy Johnson was cleaned up by Jacob Duffy. The Wellington Firebirds were struggling at 38/4 after the powerplay.

Muhammad Abbas and Michael Bracewell began the recovery job. The former was steady and made a crucial contribution of 22 runs before being cleaned up by Bacon. However Bracewell seemed to be a man on a mission and went after the bowling. He picked up the boundaries and sixes with ease and the Firebirds managed to get 21 runs from the 11th over which brought the required rate down significantly.

Bracewell brought up a well deserved 50 and continued to Torment in the Volts until he has been dismissed by Bacon. It was a huge wicket for bowling side as it brought back into the contest. Jesse Tashkoff struggled to get going and he was dismissed for 22 runs of 23 balls in the 19th over. He wasn't helped by the fact that the lower order collapsed living him without any support.

Jacob Duffy ended up being the pick of the bowlers as he picked up 3/25 while Andrew Hazeldine picked up two huge wickets early on. Ben Lockrose bowled a great spell and turned the game on it's head with his final over where he picked up two wickets. Matthew Bacon also got two to his name while skipper Luke Georgeson got one.

W WICKET! ALL OVER! The Otago Volts win by 15 runs. Full toss ball, on off, Bears stands tall and looks to drive it away up and over mid off but does not get hold of it and ends up chipping it straight to the man at mid off! The Volts are all smiles. Duffy ends up with 3 wickets to his name.
18.3 J Duffy to J Hartshorn
1 Length ball, angling away on off, Hartshorn looks to cut and gets it off the inside edge towards short fine for a single.
