Charith Asalanka (POTS and Sri Lanka Captain): "Off course, I am really pleased with my performance and also as a team we performed really well (On his Player of the Series Award). Well when I am batting at the middle I do not think of myself as a Captain, I think that I am just a Number 5 batter and I try to keep that pressure away from my shoulders. The momentum is there on our side, we are playing some good cricket. Well, we still have to improve in a couple of things but we will be well prepared for the upcoming series. Hopefully we will go with the same squad."
Shai Hope (West Indies Captain): "Very big job for us, like I said at the toss, we had something to play for. We did not have our best game in the field but the way we batted, I am happy with the performance. Most teams don't beat Sri Lanka on their home soil, we must take some positives and learnings from it. Very happy to see the guys finish on a high note. Evin is an amazing player, great to see him back and happy to see him scoring some runs. Hopefully, he carries on this form in the next series as well. I think we all can agree, West Indies play the shorter format a lot better but if Evin can prolong this and provide us a great start at the top, it'll be great. We need to be a lot more consistent and this game will give us a lot of confidence going into the series against England. Great hospitality and looking forward to being back and play here again."
