That's it from our coverage of the Three-match T20I series between Sri Lanka and West Indies. For now, this is Saptak Sanyal signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Soumarya Dutta and our scorer/analyst Paras Yadav. Good Night.
Charith Asalanka collects the trophy and joins his teammates for the celebration. Sri Lanka have grabbed a series victory by 2-1 margin and celebration starts in the team.
Charith Asalanka ( Sri Lanka Captain)- " I think the secret was our top order giving their best and playing really well. It helped us chase down that big score. We played good cricket even in the India series and it was about seizing the momentum in this series. We weren't too concerned about the score and we had our plans in place while chasing. I'm really happy with the support that we received and the fans were great. I want to thank them for sticking together with us. "
Rovman Powell(West Indies Captain): "To be honest we had enough runs. Scoring 160 on such a turning wicket was too good. But the key was to have the control in the powerplay. We gave a lot of runs in that phase and that made us fall in a tough condition. Sri Lanka bowlers took more wickets than ours and outplayed us in that department and that was a tough thing which went against us. We have a lot of positives from this series. Our fast bowlers bowled well and our batters showed in this game that they can play spin. Lastly I want to thank the Sri Lankan crowd for supporting us. It is great for a touring team to get the support."
Pathum Nissanka ( Player of the Series)- " I look to keep a really clear head and it helps me to play all the three formats. The wicket was a bit two paced. It was a great to bat with Kusal Mendis and it helped me to take the risks early on as he was playing the anchor role at the other end. "
Player of the Series- Pathum Nissanka
Kusal Mendis(Player of the Match): "I played really well and happy with myself. Pathum played well in the first six overs and it made my job easier. It was a little bit slower but we knew how to play in this situation. I and Pathum decided to play shots against the pacers as they were easier to play."

Time for the post-match presentations.
10:11 PM IST and Local Time- Kusal Perera finishes things off in style with a boundary and Sri Lanka have absolutely thumped West Indies here. They've won this game by 9 wickets and they've chased down 163 from 18 overs to win the series! West Indies were completely outplayed in the second innings by the two Kusal's who put up a 106 run stand to help the hosts cruise to a victory. Pathum Nissanka and Kusal Mendis came out all guns blazing in the powerplay and dominated the West Indies bowlers. They took their chances against the two seamers, Alzarri Joseph and Shamar Joseph. The spinners like Motie and Allen also went for some runs. The opening partnership was worth 60 runs and set the foundation for the run chase. Pathum Nissanka was dismissed by Motie as he knocked him over with one that kept low. Kusal Perera joined Kusal Mendis at the crease at that stage. The powerplay yielded 67 runs for Sri Lanka. They kept going even post the powerplay and Kusal Perera quickly got a good start. The 100 came up just after the halfway stage of the innings. Kusal Perera accompanied Kusal Mendis well and the pair kept milking away the runs. They did slow down a bit for a few overs in the middle but they managed to pick up the ones and twos. By the end of the 15th over the equation had come down to just 29 runs from 30 balls and Sri Lanka had the game in their control as West Indies failed to pick up the wickets. Roston Chase kept things tidy and Gudakesh Motie was the only one to take a wicket. The seamers however were completely off color as they leaked runs. Shamar Joseph and Alzarri Joseph couldn't control the flow of runs and Romario Shepherd too failed to give them a breakthrough. Chase had put down a simple chance in the middle overs and it might have been the turning point in the game.
