That is the coverage of the Eliminator of Zim Afro T10 . For now, this is me Aditya Agarwal signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Soumarya Dutta, who, alongside our scorer/analyst Yogesh Kumar brought you all the live action of this fixture. We will meet again in the Qualifier 2 right after this match. Until then, cheers!
Rohan Mustafa (Cape Town Samp Army Captain)- "I think I could have got the player of the match award and I am really pleased with my effort. I did well with both bat and ball. I was playing in the ILT20 and Neil McKenzie's guidance worked well for me. We needed to take advantage of powerplay and we did that. We had the confidence to go for the big shots. The likes of Amir and Irshad did really well. The spinners have responded well and from the bowling effort we took the momentum on our side. "
Thisara Perera (NYLS Captain) - " We played good cricket throughout the tournament. I would like to thank my owner, support staff and the team players as well. We built a nice family and we had a good 10 days of preparation. We will look to give our best in the future.
Salman Irshad (Cape Town Samp Army)- The yorker and slower ones were my strength and I backed them. The planning is simple and it's about keeping the line and lengths correct. The wicket was a bit skiddy and it helped my cause. The condition might get tougher in the next game and I will look to assess the condition and keep it in the right areas.
Player of the Match- Salman Irshad
Power Hitter of the Match- Rohan Mustafa
Catch of the Match- Tadiwanashe Marumani
Magic Moment of the Match- Amir Hamza
