The 9th T20 encounter between India Capitals and Konark Suryas Odisha has been called off due to wet outfield. We had continuous rain since the past two days hence the ground is not ready to have any action and thereby, the match had to be called off by the match officials.

The Irfan Pathan-led Odisha team has played two games so far in the tournament, winning one and having the other game called off due to rain. They are currently sitting in second place.
Konark Suryas' last scheduled encounter was against the Manipal Tigers at the same venue, as it was the first game of the Surat leg. However, the first game of the Surat fold was washed out due to excessive rains, giving both teams a point each.
The Capitals, on the other hand, are coming off a defeat against Southern Super Stars. Despite scoring 171/4 thanks to Ben Dunk and Ashley Nurse, they lost the game by four wickets as the Super Stars chased down the score in 19.1 overs.
