7:18 PM IST and Local Time: What a commanding performance from the Lucknow Lions! They’ve completely outclassed the Haryanvi Hunters with a massive 52-run victory. Their ticket to the finals is now secured, and they truly earned it with a clinical display in all departments!
Setting a daunting target of 198, the Lions capitalized on every opportunity with the bat, but it was the Hunters' response that told the tale. A mere 146 all-out, with only three batters showing a glimpse of the fight Lalit Yadav’s explosive 49 off 12, Moksh Murgai’s gutsy 54 off 17, and Vinay Yadav’s 14* off 5 was simply not enough to challenge the Lions.
The real destruction came from the Lions' bowling attack. Harpal Saikia’s trio of wickets was a game-changer, while captain Anurag Dwivedi showed leadership with his superb three-wicket haul. Deepak Bhardwaj and Ashish Kumar Meena chipped in with two wickets apiece to seal the Hunters' fate.
