It's time to wrap up our coverage as well, folks! We hope you enjoyed our coverage. For now, this is Deepak Prakash signing off on behalf of co-commentator Saptak Sanyal and scorer/analyst Zeeshan Naiyer. CHEERS!
The hosts, Canada, topped the Tri-Series table, with six points to their name and are the winner. Nicholas Kirton, the Canadian skipper, collects the series trophy 🏆 and joins his teammates for the photographs 📸.
Player of the Series: Sandeep Lamichhane
Nicholas Kirton(Canada Captain): "The support is very important. Thankfully our plans have also worked. The boys did well. We had 7 different player of the matches in 7 different games and this indicates that they have executed very well.

We know the way to score runs in T20 and we are getting adjusted to this format day by day. We had a good powerplay with the ball. We looked to use Saad in the powerplay and today Praveen did well. Boys keep a very busy schedule. They are always engaged in their training. Be it different batting drill or bowling drill or fielding, they gives their best everyday."
Aqib Ilyas (Oman Captain): "I think many matches went that way. We were upset because our batting didn’t click. You know, in such conditions, staying at the wicket and scoring runs requires toughness. The ball is turning, the bowlers are performing well, so it’s crucial to take responsibility and stay there for the team.

I feel the boys didn’t show the courage or fighting spirit needed. Anyone could have stepped up and done it for the team, but credit goes to Canada.
As for the bowlers, they did put the ball in the right areas to take wickets, but overall, we didn’t perform well in all the games.

You can’t blame the pitch all the time. As a cricketer, you’re expected to train on various wickets and score runs in all conditions, not just the ones that suit you. You have to take on the challenge and perform regardless of the circumstances. But even in tough conditions, if you've set a target of 150, you should aim to reduce it to 120-130, not drop down to 80 or 70. That’s not how you approach it. I believe the team will perform better in the future. We need to focus on ourselves, work on our skills, and, most importantly, improve our mindset.

Maybe the boys took it a bit easy on this tour and weren’t fully prepared mentally, but once they return, they’ll reflect on what happened here in Canada. We can’t continue like this because we were on top during the last WCL tour, and now other teams are catching up. We’ve seen how Canada has raised the bar.

We have to be ready to fight, especially with the Netherlands coming up, and then the Emerging Cup, where teams like India and Pakistan will be competing. So, we have to prepare for that."
Parveen Kumar(Player of the Match): "It's kind of a dream come true to represent my country and contribute to the victory. Bowling in top level is all about consistency and sticking to the plan. I just did that.

It was pretty fun playing with these lads. From now, we have a few series together. These boys have done well in both 50-over cricket and 20-over cricket."
