Milestone
That brings an end to our coverage of this game. Keep joining us for more cricketing action all around the globe. For now, this is Akshay Bhide, signing off, on behalf of my co-commentators Ajay Pal Singh and Aditya Agrawal and scorer Paras Yadav. Ta ta. Bye bye.
Aiden Markram (POTM & Sunrisers Eastern Cape Captain) : " It felt quite tough to be honest with the new ball going around a bit. It made quite tough to score. The opponents bowled really well.

Yeah, initially when you walk in the powerplay. You get yourself in and see the technical side of the game. You don't get to see that aspect nowadays.

I think it was pretty relaxed with Marco. He played really well with his cameo and Dawson played beautifully today.

He (Marco Jansen) is such a young guy and has a very calm head in between his shoulders. It surprises me and everyone. I would like to thank the crowd for coming out here to support us in a windy and a cold weather."
Rilee Rossouw (Pretoria Capitals Captain): "Yeah, I thought we did the right things at the right time in bowling. I feel 150 was par. Our bowlers did a fine job. But our batters were not up to the mark.

It's always about the natural instincts. But we wanted to take it deep as possible and the Sunrisers kept picking wickets at regular intervals. That stopped us.

Hitting half-volley to mid off. Hitting short balls to deep square leg. No. Not taking anything from them. It's all about the instincts and taking nothing away from them.

Just win two or three games and we'll qualify for the playoffs. Just learn from the mistakes going ahead in the competition.

Jason has a lot of experience. He is coming off a very good run in the Big Bash and we are looking forward to what he brings to the team."

12:10 PM IST and 08:40 PM Local Time | Sunrisers Eastern Cape win 3 matches on the trot as they beat Pretoria Capitals comprehensively by a margin of 52 runs.

Here's a review of what happened in the match.

Earlier, the Capitals opted to bowl first and got off to a wonderful start. They dismissed Zak Crawley (0), David Bedingham (8) and Tom Abell (6) inside the powerplay. Skipper Aiden Markram at five held the fort for the Sunrisers and played a beautiful knock. Jordan Hermann (9) and Tristan Stubbs (4) were sent packing cheaply but Markram refused to give up as he led from the front.

Markram received good support from Marco Jansen (24) as they laid a solid foundation for a strong finish. Markram brought up a well-composed fifty and remained unbeaten on 68 before Liam Dawson’s 11-ball 25 powered the Sunrisers to 149/7. Eathan Bosch registered figures of 3/33 for the Capitals.

Chasing 150, Pretoria Capitals never looked comfortable. Marco Jansen struck with 3 back-to-back wickets inside the powerplay. As a result, Pretoria Capitals ended the powerplay on a score of 34/4.

Liam Dawson then spun the web around the batters and picked up 3 wickets in the middle phase of the innings to broke the back of Pretoria Capitals.

Wickets kept falling at regular intervals and as a result Pretoria Capitals were bundled out on a mere 97. Sunrisers Eastern Cape were clinical throughout and won the match comfortably by 52 runs.

Marco Jansen was the star of the bowlers from his team, he bagged 4 wickets and gave away just 13 runs in his 4 overs. Stay tuned for the presentation!
