That's it from our coverage in the 2nd WODI between England and West Indies from Leicester. A dominating victory for the hosts set up by the top 3 - Jones, Beaumont & Lamb then backed up by the bowling attack to bundle Windies out for a paltry total. The hosts get a 2-0 unassailable lead in the 3-match series at home. Ninaad Dixit here signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Ajay Pal Singh and scorer/analyst Zeeshan Naiyer. Stay tuned for more from around the world.
Nat Sciver-Brunt (England Women Captain): "Yeah, really well. Tammy and Amy put on another brilliant partnership. They got to three figures again which is great to see. Batters 3, 4 and 5 are getting a bit pad-rashy but it is nice to see them putting the team in a great position.

Obviously, it is hard to follow a big partnership. You feel like you should go as quick as they are. She did well to settle in first and then go hard.

Yeah, absolutely. Everyone stuck to the best as they could. We were a lot more energetic in the field. The bowlers are doing their best to impress and take those wickets when they can.

It is important that we see everyone have a go with the World Cup coming up. It won't happen in 3 games in June but yeah, it is a great step towards that.

Yeah, absolutely. It is a great value that everyone is playing a lot of domestic cricket. Everyone is putting in performances and showing that they are in great form which is making things difficult for the selectors."
Shemaine Campbelle (West Indies Women Captain): "It's good to see that the young players are doing well. That was a plus for us.

We just got into bowling in good areas but unfortunately it didn't go where we wanted. We are waiting on the medical update on Hayley. Qiana is gonna get better, it's just a minor stuff with her."
Amy Jones (POTM): "Yeah, quite funny how it worked out. Cool to be part of a big partnership with Tammy once again. I am enjoying it, have opened a couple of times. It is not easy, you have to ride your luck sometimes.

(Only pair to register two back-to-back 200-plus stands in WODIs) No, didn't know that one. But yeah, pretty cool. Really pleased with the effort. Just enjoying the freedom. I feel I am happy to go out there and express myself.

Yeah, exactly. Always learning. Lauren Filer is rapid. Got to stay on my toes a bit. Hopefully, keep practicing those and take them next time."

12:35 AM IST & 8:05 PM Local Time: England Women demolish the West Indies by 143 runs to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match ODI series. Once again, the batters set it up and without their talismanic skipper Hayley Matthews, chasing 367 was always going to be tough and the West Indies were bowled out for 223 in 45.4 overs.

Earlier in the game, England Women won the toss and elected to bat first. Matthews didn't play because of a shoulder injury and Shmaine Campbelle walked out for the toss for the visitors.

Amy Jones and Tammy Beaumont made history, becoming the first pair in Women’s ODI cricket to record back-to-back 200-plus partnerships.

Both batters carried their form from the first match, scoring impressive centuries β€” Jones smashed 129 off 98 balls, while Beaumont compiled a steady 106 off 109.

Emma Lamb added a well-made half-century, and a late cameo from Sophia Dunkley (31 off 19) helped push England to a formidable total of 366/6 in their 50 overs.

Karishma Ramharack and Aaliyah Alleyne both bagged two wickets each. Jannillea Glasgow and Jahzara Claxton got one apiece.

In reply, the visitors lost Zaida James in the 7th over. Stand-in skipper Shemaine Campbelle scored just six runs.

Realeanna Grimmond played a fine knock on debut. She scored 53 runs off 72 balls. Jannillea Glasgow added 44 off 24 but there was hardly any other major contribution from the top order.

Cherry Ann Fraser scored 24 and Karishma Ramharack remained unbeaten on 15 as the West Indies were bowled out for 223.

Alice Capsey picked up three wickets and was the pick of the bowlers. Lauren Filer and Linsey Smith bagged two apiece. Alice Davidson Richards, Lauren Bell and Kate Cross all picked up a wicket each. Stay tuned for the post-match presentation...
