So, that also brings an end to our coverage of this game between Kalyani Bengaluru Blasters and Mangaluru Dragons. For now, this is me Hiren Kumar signing off on behalf of my co-commentators Saptak Sanyal, Sourmaya Dutta and scorer/analyst Zeeshan Naiyer. CHEERS!!!
Mayank Agarwal( Bengaluru Blasters Captain)- " The instruction to Kranthi Kumar was not to bowl a wide or a no ball and keep it in the right areas. It's a special win considering how we came back in the second half of the game. We did let ourselves down with the bat but the bowlers showed phenomenal character. We took it to the final over and kept pushing them. The boys have done really well. I haven't got as many runs but it's about that one innings. The supporters have been superb and they've continued to cheer us through thick and thin. "

Time for the post-match presentations.
22:23 IST & Local Time: Bengaluru Blasters win it by 6 runs. What a game we have witnessed. An outstanding bowling display from the Blasters to successfully defend the total off 144 runs. The Blasters have now won 4 out of their 5 games so far. So, here is how this low scoring thriller panned out.

Opting to field first, the Mangaluru Dragons did a brilliant job by restricting the Blasters to just 144. Abhilash Shetty was outstanding with the new ball and picked up 4 wickets in his spell. In the backend, MB Darshan was also brilliant and picked up 4 wickets to his name.

With the bat, the Blasters would have been disappointed with their effort but did post something to bowl at. Skipper Mayank Agarwal was again dismissed for a duck but LR Chetan was impressive at the top and scored 30 runs. In the end, Suraj Ahuja and Kranthi Kumar batted well and scored 38 and 39 runs respectively to help them cross the 140-mark.

Coming to the chase, the Blasters started off very well with the new balls with Santokh Singh picking up a wicket in the first ball of the chase. He was the pick of the bowlers for them and ended his spell with the figures of 2/11 in his 4 overs. They were also excellent in the death and successfully defended the total. Kranthi Kumar was also good in the death and picked up 2 wickets to his name.

With the bat, the Dragons did lose a couple of early wickets and were struggling in the middle overs as well but Nikin Jose held one end firmly and played an outstanding knock of 61 runs but could not cross the finish line in the end. Lochan Gowda also batted decently and scored 28 off 22.
