Matthew Short (Player of the Match): "Yeah, I mean, to be honest, I'm just happy to be out there, back on the field. It's a great feeling, and getting the win makes it even better. It's been a pretty frustrating season for the lads, so it's nice to be back here in Adelaide and put on a good show for the fans.
Oh, again, I'm frustrated. It's tough sitting on the sidelines, especially as captain, when you're doing everything you can behind the scenes. When you can't get the results on the field and you're stuck on the bench, it's pretty hard. But as I said, it's great to be back, getting on the winners' list, and hopefully, we can carry this momentum forward. You never know what can happen at the end of the tournament.
I always say how great it is to bat with Lynn. It's always a pleasure to see him get going as he eases the pressure. Ross came in with great intent, and it all worked out well. Towards the end, we tried a few different things with the ball, giving Haskett and Buckingham a few overs. We're up against two massive teams, and now we move on to face the Sixers. We'll look to put on another strong performance for them."
