That would be all from our side as we wrap up our coverage of this BBL game between the Perth Scorchers and the Brisbane Heat. For now, it's Soumarya Dutta signing off on behalf of my co-commentators, Ajay and Akshaya along with our Scorer/Analyst Paras Yadav. See you soon!
Nick Hobson (POTM): "I thought the guys laid the platform, sometimes it can get really difficult to start here in Perth. We just got on a roll and took it. It is such a fickle role, coming down the order. Sometimes you hit it straight to the fielder. And sometimes, it comes off. Fortunately, today it came off.
Yeah, it was awesome. The last over with Matt Kelly, I was joking how loud it was. You can barely hear anything. It definitely gave us momentum and got us to start the way we did with the ball.
The coaching staff loved it, we really work hard on our fielding. Ash Agar set the crowd alive with that run-out and then we took it from there."

7:12 PM IST and 9:42 PM Local Time- The Perth Scorchers have won by 33 runs here and they've bundled out the Brisbane Heat for 132 in 19.4 overs. This has been a remarkable bowling effort from them and they kept picking up the wickets in the second half of the innings as the Heat collapsed under pressure. Max Bryant offered some resistance at the back end as the visitors got the score above 130 but it was never going to be enough for them.
Tom Banton smashed a big blow early on but he was dismissed for just 7. Jimmy Peirson hung in around for a while but the pressure was growing. He was run out owing to a miscommunication with skipper Munro and the Heat lost two wickets in the powerplay.
Kelly got rid of Colin Munro while McSweeney was also run out. It was Matthew Renshaw who was once again instrumental in keeping the Heat in the game as he took on the bowlers and played the big shots. At the halfway stage of the game, the Heat needed 98 runs to win from 60 balls.
The Heat took the Surge right after the halfway stage of the innings to accelerate and get some momentum in the run chase. Instead Andrew Tye got rid of Renshaw and Behrendorff dismissed Walter. The Heat had a monumental collapse as they were 8 down heading into the final overs of the innings and needed a mammoth 71 runs.
Jason Behrendorff picked up a couple of wickets up front and Lance Morris was also quite lethal with his extra pace. Kelly and Andrew Tye picked up a couple of wickets each as they didn't allow the Heat middle order or lower order to make any kind of contribution. Ashton Agar was the pick of the bowlers as he bowled a maiden over and picked up a wicket from his spell conceding just 14 runs.
W BOWLED'EM!!!! Perth Scorchers get over the line by 33 runs. AJ Tye says enough is enough and goes for the good ol' yorker. Johnson fails to bring his bat down in time, and the ball cannons into the middle stump. A few words are exchanged again between Tye and Johnson, but it ends with all smiles.
19.3 A Tye to S Johnson
4 FOUR!!!! Take that, says Spencer Johnson. Back of a length on the leg stump line again. Did not bounce as much as the last one. Johnson backs away and flat bats it over mid on for a boundary. He has a few words to say to Tye as well after that shot.
