Well that's it for today folks! Join us back tomorrow as we bring you all the LIVE action from the cricketing world!
Until then, this is Anirudh Modi, signing off along with my co-commentator Ninaad Dixit, and our scorer/analyst Manish Bishnoi! See you on the next one.
Phoebe Litchfield (Sydney Thunder Women Captain): "We just wanted to test and wanted to make the finals. Very fortunate to come up with the win. We knew at the halfway mark that we don't need to rush things and play cricketing strokes. Credit to the middle order to take us through. They played composed cricket and didn't panic.
We talked at the halfway stage to forget the first 10 and think that we are chasing 160 and have got 100 after 10. We just needed a run-a-ball in the last 10 and kept it positive out there.
A home final will be great. Really proud of this group and how far we have come. We will look to play freely against Renegades and get back in the rhythm."
Hannah Darlington (Player of the Match): "I just love first nation, I think it's the game I turn up for the most! It's incredible! We wanted to flip our mindset when we were at 4/50, we wanted to think we had to chase 150 and we were 4/100, and the way Wilson and Learoyd batted was incredible.
It's going to be a home ground for years to come, it's really good for our confidence. We spoke about this before the game as to what we need to do to get a home final and this is the first step towards it."

3:42 PM IST, 9:12 PM Local Time | Misery continues for Melbourne Stars as a low scoring encounter is won by table toppers Sydney Thunder by 4 wickets! The Stars did not align for Melbourne as their poor run continues in this tournament. This also means that, Sydney Thunder will play the WBBL Finals this season!
Sydney Thunder Women won the toss and elected to bowl first, and their decision was vindicated early on in the powerplay, when Sam Bates dismissed the Stars' skipper Sutherland in the second over of the day for 3 runs! Post the powerplay, the Thunder turned up the heat to keep picking up wickets at regular intervals and it was only thanks to a late innings charge from Kim Garth's 20 runs off 18 balls that the Thunder were able to breach the 3 figure mark!
Darlington was the pick of the bowlers with the figures of 3/26 from her 4 overs and a sublime bowling effort saw Thunder restrict Stars to 108/8 at the end of their 20 overs.
Come the chase, Marizanne Kapp provided the dream start for Melbourne Stars, dismissing the entire top order to leave Thunder reeling at 15/3 at one stage. Maisy Gibson struck the 4th wicket and Thunder looked to be in deep trouble.
However, Wilson and Learoyd had other ideas as they entered a period of consolidation and struck a crucial partnership of 49 runs for the 5th wicket, before Garth dismissed Wilson for 33 runs off 40 balls! With 22 runs needed in 18 balls, Thunder had a power surge in hand.
With 14 runs and a wicket from the Surge, it all came down to Deepti Sharma defending 8 runs from 6 balls. But it was not to be as Learoyd held her nerve to take her team past the winning line! Learoyd stayed unbeaten on 31 runs off 37 balls to help her team take the W!
Marizanne Kapp was the pick of the bowlers for Melbourne Stars with 3/20 from her 4 overs!
