That brings the curtains on our live coverage of this Women's Big Bash League game! For now, it's Arjun Bhalla taking your leave on behalf of my co-commentator, Anirudh Modi, alongside our Scorer/Analyst, Paras Yadav.
See you soon as we bring to you the Sydney Clash!
Lizelle Lee (Player of the Match): "Probably not, the records do not matter to me until the team wins. They did extremely well to win today. There was never a time they looked down on me and that's what makes this team special, everyone backs each other to do well.
It was fine, once I got my eye in, it was easy to hit the ball around with the conditions here. Yes, fly back tonight and then we have to celebrate this game that was really good but we need to focus on the next one. I am used to living in Hobart but these were really good conditions for batting and credit to my team, they did extremely well to win."
7:41 AM IST and 1:11 PM Local: As expected, Hobart Hurricanes have given a drubbing to Perth Scorchers in both innings here at the SCG.
After the Lizelle Lee show, where she became the history-maker in WBBL by smashing the highest individual score in the league, the Hobart bowlers had a huge total to defend.
Molly Strano started off beautifully as she removed Sophie Devine on the first ball of the innings, and two balls later, Chloe Pipero got run out.
Things got even worse from there on as Dayalan Hemalatha perished in front of Strano inside the powerplay. Amy Jones was the next one to fall as wickets kept on tumbling throughout the chase.
Lauren Smith joined the party by snapping two quick wickets, sending Mikayla Hinkley and Alana King to the hut, and Beth Mooney lost her way in between them. With all the damage already done, Chloe Ainsworth decided to go down attacking. The faster bowler played a brilliant hand for her 41 off 27 balls.
Although it was not enough as Perth Scorchers folded for 131 runs, while chasing Hobart's total of 203 runs. The Hurricanes move up to second place from the seventh position with this cracking 72-run victory!
That's it! Hobart Hurricanes seal a massive victory over Perth Scorchers by 72 runs! A run-out to end proceedings here.
19.3 K Bryce to E Hoskin
W That would be it. Hoskin pushes the good length ball towards covers and runs for her life. The bowler goes towards the ball and collects it cleanly before throwing back to the keeper, who whips off the bails to run out Mills, who had a stop-start!
