Samantha Bates (Player of the Match): "I don't know whether there's any secret. Nice to be contributing. Have worked hard in the off season and great to get the rewards.
I think to come in and win games has been good leading into the back end. We are in a good space right now and looking forward to going ahead.
It's nice to be contributing and helping the team win."

2:40 PM IST, 5:10 PM Local Time: A brilliant performance from Heather Knight and the top order along with a composed performance from the bowling unit has helped Sydney Thunder claim a 19-run win over Brisbane Heat at Perth.
Winning the toss, Heat elected to bowl first with Knight scoring 59, skipper Phoebe Litchfield 40 in 25 balls to help put them a match winning total of 170/5 in the 20 overs. Heat skipper Jess Jonassen had a good day in the field with 3/22 and a catch.
Chasing the big total, Brisbane Heat lost Georgia Redmayne in the powerplay with Jemimah Rodrigues failing to go big. Grace Harris had 41 to score in 31 deliveries as she added 37 runs for the 3rd wicket with Charli Knott.
No other batter could score into double digits as Samantha Bates (4/25) ran through the lineup alongside Taneale Peschel (2/23), Chamari Athapaththu (2/33) with the experienced Shabnim Ismail (1/22) restricting the scoring as well.
With this win, Sydney Thunder move to the top of the WBBL table with Brisbane Heat keeping their number 4 spot with as many points to their name.
