That's all from this mouth-watering clash, folks! We hope you enjoyed out coverage. For now, this is me Deepak Prakash signing off on behalf of co-commentator Soumarya Dutta and scorer/analyst Paras Yadav. CHEERS!
Sophie Molineux(Melbourne Renegades Women Captain)- "It was a good effort from us in the first innings and we kept them to a par score. We held our nerve in the end and got over the line. It's pretty hard to explain. We do bat deep and we stayed positive. We tried to get the partnerships going and we knew if we gave ourselves a bit of a chance we could chase it down. It's one of those days and McGrath showed that there was runs to be had on this surface. Every game is really important here and we will look to focus on them one by one as they come."

11:12 AM IST, 4:42 PM Local Time: PHEW! A mouth-watering contest at Junction Oval, with the Melbourne Renegades Women snatching victory on the final ball of the match. The Renegades Women were in deep waters at one stage of the game, but skipper Sophie Molineux delivered a gem of a knock and helped her side emerge victorious at their home ground.
Earlier, after opting to bat first, Adelaide Strikers Women posted 157/5 in 20 overs. Tahlia McGrath starred with the bat for them, scoring an unbeaten 64 runs off 44 balls. Orla Prendergast (31 off 26) and Ellie Johnston (15 off 8) chipped in with valuable knocks at the tail end of the innings and propelled Strikers' total to over 150 runs.
Sophie Molineux grabbed a couple of wickets for Renegades Women, while Georgia Wareham and Alice Capsey chipped in with a wicket apiece.
In response to 157 runs, Melbourne Renegades Women got off to a shaky start as their top and middle order batters faltered miserably and were reeling at 52/5 in the 9th over. Sophie Molineux and Deandra Dottin started the rescue mission and the former launched an absolute carnage at Junction Oval. She smashed the Strikers' bowlers to all parts of the ground, reaching her fifty in just 21 balls. Her blistering knock pulled the hosts out of a dire situation, while Dottin played a supporting role before being dismissed by Darcie Brown for 20.
The Renegades skipper looked to finish the game quickly but was dismissed for a 32-ball 64 while attempting a big shot. The Adelaide Strikers Women's bowlers tightened things up in the last few overs, pushing the game to a thrilling finish. With 2 runs needed off the final ball, Nicole Faltum smashed one down to long-on for a double under immense pressure, securing a victory for the Renegades.
Darcie Brown, Amanda-Jade Wellington, and Jemma Barsby bagged a couple of wickets each for the Strikers, while Anesu Mushangwe and Megan Schutt chipped in with one wicket each but failed to defend 157 runs.

2 FALTUM DELIVERS UNDER PRESSUREE! It was flatter and around the middle stump line. Faltum backed away and blasted it past the bowler. She got it beyond the circle and picked up the first run. The fielder did stop it but it wasn't enough to prevent the second run. The Melbourne Renegades Women win by just 2 wickets. This has been an incredible game of cricket.
GOLD DUST! A crucial dot ball from Mushangwe. The third umpire has been called for a run-out check at the keeper's end. The wicket-keeper shows great presence of mind, whipping off the bails as Faltum looked to sneak a single. However, the replay shows the batter is well inside the crease, and 'NOT OUT' flashes on the big screen. 2 needed off 1 ball. Super over, anyone?
