Yastika Bhatia (Player of the Match): "Its really nice to be here. The Melbourne family has welcomed me nicely. My family is here and it is a special moment for me. My father and uncle are here. The atmosphere is very relaxed and chill here and they know how to get into the zone.
The bowlers are brilliant and I enjoy keeping to them especially Tess Flintoff. Yeah, I look forward to the places my uncle will take me and I will explore some places in Melbourne. Hopefully, my form continues the same."

7:34 AM IST, 1:04 PM Local Time: A comprehensive victory for Melbourne Stars Women as they thump Hobart Hurricanes Women by 7 wickets and 13 balls to spare and grab two important points.
Earlier, after opting to bat first, Hobart Hurricanes Women got off to a shaky start as they lost Lizelle Lee (4), Danielle Wyatt-Hodge (5), Elyse Villani (11), and Heather Graham (8) cheaply and were tottering at 46/4 in the ninth over.
Nicola Carey and Chloe Tryon began the rescue mission, steadying the innings and getting the batting back on track. They kept the scoreboard ticking at a decent pace, adding 66 runs for the fifth wicket. However, Tess Flintoff provided a crucial breakthrough for the Stars Women by dismissing Carey for 44. Just when the Hurricanes Women needed to accelerate at the tail end, both set batters departed, with Tryon following Carey back to the pavilion in the penultimate over after scoring a valuable 35. Kathryn Bryce finished the innings with a straight down-the-ground six and her unbeaten 5-ball 11 runs propelled Hobart's side to 133/7 runs in 20 overs.
Marizanne Kapp and Kim Garth shared a couple of wickets each for the Stars, while Tess Flintoff, Deepti Sharma, and Sophie Day contributed one wicket each.
In response to 133 runs, Yastika Bhatia scored at a decent pace from the word go but lacked support from her partner, Ines McKeon, who departed for a mere 6 runs in the fifth over of the innings. Meg Lanning joined Bhatia in the middle and the pair pounced on the looseners to keep the scoreboard moving. The pair added 64 runs for the second wicket, laying a solid foundation before Lanning was dismissed for 27. Bhatia notched up her maiden WBBL fifty but failed to bat till the end and departed for 57 runs off 46 balls.
Annabel Sutherland, coming in at number four, delivered an unbeaten 26 off 20 balls, while Marizanne Kapp (15*) sealed the game with a boundary, helping the Melbourne Stars Women cross the line with 13 balls to spare.
