After winning the bat flip and choosing to bat first, Grace Harris and Georgia Redmayne opened the innings for Brisbane Heat Women. The duo added 71 runs for the first wicket before Redmayne was dismissed for 19 from 21 balls. Grace was then joined by Jemimah Rodrigues in the middle. They added 69 runs for the second wicket. While Jemimah scored 45 from 27 balls, Grace added 75 from 57 balls. Laura Harris played a quick fire knock of 21 from 11 balls. Brisbane Heat Women posted a total of 173/6 in 20 overs.
For Hobart Hurricanes Women, Kathryn Bryce was the pick of the bowlers who took 2/22 in 3 overs. Molly Strano, Heather Graham and Nicola Carey took one wicket each in the innings.
Chasing a target of 174 on the board, Lizelle Lee and Danielle Nicole Wyatt opened the innings for Hobart Hurricanes Women. The pair added 55 runs for the first wicket before Lee was dismissed for 38 from 25 balls. Nicola Carey could manage to score 17 from 15 balls. Towards the end, Elyse Villani and Heather Graham remained unbeaten to help their team win the match. While Villani scored 32* from 29 balls, Graham added 26* from 14 balls.
For Brisbane Heat Women, Grace Parsons, Nadine de Klerk and Charli Knott took one wicket each.
