That's it from our coverage of the 2nd and final Test match between Pakistan and West Indies from Multan! Ninaad Dixit signing off on behalf of scorer/analyst Ghanendra Singh Thakur. Stay tuned for more action from around the world.
Both the captains share the series trophy, pose for the photographs and now the entire squads from Pakistan and West Indies pose with the trophy together! Brilliant series comes to an end with West Indies finishing 8th in the WTC table and Pakistan at the final position. This brings an end to the penultimate series of this cycle. The final series will begin later this week when Sri Lanka hosts finalists Australia.
Kraigg Brathwaite (West Indies Captain): "We haven't played in Pakistan for a number of years. West Indies never won a Test match for a while. To do here and come it as a young group is truly amazing.

There is a ball with your name written regardless what you do. It was about believing in your plan and we did that.

It was a good experience. When you play on better pitches you will continue to have a mindset to play with the same positivity. It will help you in the long run. A good Test on some challenging pitches, it was great to see us to win.

Warrican says he only bats against off spin in the Caribbean. Good to see him get some runs, get some confidence with the bat. Him and Motie in the 1st innings really set the game for us. It was truly amazing to see. I am really happy for him. He's been in and out of the team but he showed his class.

It was different. The hotels have been decent. It was a good experience, the pitches were tough for the batters to bat on. But all in all, decent experience."
Shan Masood (Pakistan Captain): "The only option left was to bring the fast bowler on and have a crack but I think they batted well we have to learn as a side and we have to take the tail out in various conditions. We got the tail out in Australia quite frequently but this is something that can cost a Test match.

The 1st day we were in the position we wanted to be in. Just 1 bad performance had a domino effect. You can't dwell on it. Even when we fail we have an opportunity to learn. We have done a lot of good things as well. 1 extra wicket or an extra partnership can have a huge impact on the game.

It's a game of all stakeholders. Credit to the players to throw themselves in without being exposed to these conditions. Domestic cricket will be played like this. We've already talked about this. The more we play the better we will get at it. Out of 4 we have won 3 matches in these conditions. We dominated the 1st hour on day 1 which could have tilted the match heavily in our favor but it's just about winning those key moments.

We have seen some encouraging signs. Batters being proactive like when Saud got his fifty, when Rizzy got his 50 in the 1st match and when they had this partnership in this match. Even when I got my 50 it was off 60 balls, Babar played quite proactively yesterday as well. Everyone has chipped in but it's about more contributions and realizing that you might not get the hundreds here but the thirties and fourties will contribute to the winning combination. It's just about staying up and proactive. Kraigg Brathwaite took the game on. The score was 70 and he had 50-odd."
Jomel Warrican (Player of the Match & Series): "Speed is very important and we had to work on that. The slower you bowl, the more effective you will be on these wickets. I used it to my advantage.

Once the ball is in my zone I back myself to clear the boundary and I trust my defence. We believed in our game plan and backed ourselves to win the game. Also the fightback we showed in 2nd innings, bowling out Pakistan for a cheap total brought back the belief. We know once we batted well, we had the chance to win the game.

It's about variation in pace and hitting the same length over and over being consistent which is the key to everything in life."
