That will bring the curtains down on our coverage of this MPL game between the Kolhapur Tuskers and the Chhatrapati Sambhaji Kings. For now, it's Soumarya Dutta signing off on behalf of Ayan Chatterjee and our Scorer/Analyst Ashok Dayma. See you soon.
Rahul Tripathi (Kolhapur TuskersCaptain): "Felt good. Pleased for the boys. Great team effort. Lost early wickets. Siddharth played well and then Aniket and others chipped in as well. The wicket was a bit sticky and tough and brand was positive. The middle order is there and a good total and a good team doing well. The bowlers did well and executed the job. Nehal bowled well and showed his class and the wicket had some juice and chasing 175 they lost early wickets and they did well. He is a fun guy to be around and doing something. Him and Yash they play carrom and run outside the hotel. Everyone is enjoying each other's company. It's just about team work. Lot of credit goes to the management and after 4 games that we lost, there was positiveness that we will bounce back and should look to grow as a cricketer. Yes, Thank You very much. To CSK team they played well, they fought hard and all the best for the future."
Siddharth Mhatre - "I loved my time out there and enjoyed batting. My captain asked me to back my skills. I backed my strengths and the atmosphere in the dressing room allows us to bat freely. "
Player of the Match: Siddharth Mhatre.
Time for the presentations.
Murtuza Trunkwala (ChhatrapatiSambhaji KingsCaptain): "Yes, i think brilliant start for us. We got Rahul and Ankit as well. But they have depth in their batting. Everyone chipped in in the end and scored big runs in the end. They scored 20-25 runs in the end. We could have bowled more dots. But they played better shots and deserve the win in the end. No pressure. We had a plan. Had to get maximum runs in the powerplay. We lost wickets in the powerplay. They bowled slower balls and they were the better side. I think 15-20 runs were given by bowlers. They executed the bowling well. Bouncers and slower ones were used well. Khatpe tried his best and no batter to blame. We win and lose as a team. Thanks to MCA for all the support for the players to play under lights. Great to have that. I think my hundred is favourite moment for me. Executing the moments and learning how to go about it. Lots to learn. Would have loved to do better in the end and finished better but that's what it is."
23:14 IST and Local time - Kolhapur Tuskers have won the contest by 32 runs and they've been absolutely clinical when it mattered the most. This has been a superb effort from them as the Chhatrapati Sambhaji Kings have finished on 141/8 in their 20 overs. Omkar Khatpe fought hard till the end, but it was too tough a job for him with the wickets falling all over.
The Chhatrapati Sambhaji Kings started off on a shaky note as they lost three wickets in the powerplay itself. Tusamad wrecked havoc at the start as he picked up both the openers Bhosale and Trunkwala. Umar Shah picked up Nawale when the CSK were reeling at 30/3. Digvijay Patil joined Khatpe and build up a partnership. They put on 44 runs for the fourth wicket before Dakway broke through.
The wickets continued to tumble as Saurabh Singh and Jadhav, the impact player both fell soon after. The only one raging on a battle was Khatpe but his strike rate was a bit of a problem. It was Dakway though, who picked up three wickets to put the middle and lower middle order under enormous pressure.
Shrikant Mundhe and Umar Shah held their nerves as they had to bowl the tough overs at the back end the of the innings. The rest of the bowlers backed them up well as they didn't give away too many runs. Shreyas Chavan went wicketless today but bowled a priceless spell as he gave away only 23 runs.

0 Last ball of the match. Good length delivery on the stumps, Hangargekar looks to work it away and gets hit on the pads. Appeal is turned down but it does not matter. Kolhapur Tuskers win this game quite easily in the end as CSK's campaign ends here. The Tuskers will play Eagle Nashik Titans in Qualifier 2 tomorrow.
Khatpe's brave knock comes to an end. The CSK are just one ball away from a massive win. The Tuskers will have to bow out of the tournament.
19.5 S Mundhe to O Khatpe
W WICKET! RUN OUT! Short of a length, Khatpe hits it hard down the ground to the bowler who collects the ball and effects the run out at the bowler's end. Khatpe is run out as another wicket goes down here.
Another catch has been put down. The Tuskers have dropped far too many of them so far but luckily for them it hasn't costed them much.
