Murtuza Trunkwala (Chhatrapati Sambhaji Kings Captain): "It’s always good to lead a winning team. It’s my second match as captain. The way we started, we ticked all the boxes, so we are happy with our batting, bowling and the fielding as well. We are looking to entertain our fans. Last season we couldn’t deliver as per their expectation, so we are looking to play well for them and the franchise as well. We will just focus on the process and if we win the trophy then that’s a bonus for us. After the powerplay, we had enough wickets in hand and enough power hitters who delivered at the right time. Digvijay Jadhav and Om Bhosale played really well. And once we had the runs on the board, we were able to defend it with the kind of bowling attack we have with us."
Om Bhosale (Player of the match): "It is always good to score runs for the team and win the game. We were trying to select few bowlers and attack them. It was a good partnership with Jadhav. My plan is to keep things simple".
Player of the Match: Om Bhosale.
Time for the presentations.
VishantMore (Raigad RoyalsCaptain): "I think we could have saved singles and gave away runs. They got set and scored runs. They batted well. Digvijay and Om batted well really out there. I think we needed one or two partnerships and did not get it and that's where we lost it. Fielding was great. Preparation and planning was good for us. Just look at the errors and curtail down the mistakes. Positive was to get to 170 even after getting out and losing wickets."
