The rain affected match started 15 minutes late. In between the first innings also, due to slight drizzle, the match was halted for some minutes, which resulted in loss of two overs per side. So, it became an encounter of 18-overs per side.
After losing the toss and put into bat first, CR Gnaneshwar and Mamidi Vamsi Krishna opened the innings for Godavari Titans. They were down to 48/4 in 5.5 overs. Krishna was the only batter in the top five to get a double digit score. He added 29 from 24 balls. SDNV Prasad scored 15 from 16 balls and KV Sasikanth added 24 from 18 balls. Gadde Samanvith made 22 from 14 balls. Towards the end Gonnabattula Chiranjeevi added 11 from 4 balls to help his side post a total of 138/10 in 17.1 overs.
For Coastal Riders, Yarragunta Pramod took 3/52 in 4 overs while Siraparapu Ashish picked 2/16 in 4 overs. Cheepurapalli Stephen also picked one wicket in the innings.
Chasing a target of 139 on the board, Shaik Rasheed and Pitta Arjun Tendulkar opened the innings for Coastal Riders. Arjun could only add 19 from 13 balls before being dismissed. Rasheed was then joined by Abhishek Reddy in the middle. The duo added 81 runs for the second wicket before Rasheed was dismissed for 39 from 33 balls. Abhishek Reddy remained unbeaten on 61 from 42 balls. Maddila Harsha Vardhan scored 15 from 15 balls to help his team win the match.
For Godavari Titans, Chennupati Teja took 21/2 in 3.3 overs. KV Sasikanth and Tripurana Vijay took one wicket each in the innings.
