That's all we have for you from this contest between West Indies and Bangladesh. The hosts have clinched the ODI Series 2-0 with a game to go. First series win for West Indies in ODIs against Bangladesh since 2014!

For now, this is Pritam Dey signing off on behalf of my co-commentators Deepak Prakash and Anirudh Modi who, along with scorer/analyst Ashok Dayma brought all the actions of this clash. Stay tuned for more cricketing action from around the world. BYE BYE👋
Shai Hope (West Indies Captain): "Very pleased, we asked the guys to turn around the powerplay and they did that. We understand how important it is to pick early wickets, and they did that. We always analyse our games win or lose, not asking too much of the guys but just to tick boxes everyday and keep improving as a dream.

It was a pretty clinical performance except maybe the batters lost too many wickets at the end. We needed to win a series at home and that was the challenge we put to the boys yesterday and they did it. Mindley bowled nicely, did not think he bowled badly in the first phase and first wicket for him today, and we hope he continues to perform.

Every game is important to gain points and ensure the automatic qualification for the next World Cup."
Mehidy Hasan Miraz (Bangladesh Captain): "I think, we did not bat well in the middle overs. We did not get partnerships and lost back to back wickets. Definitely Mahmudullah and Sakib played a brilliant knock but it was our mistake.

I think they bowled really well. Credit goes especially to Seales. I think we lost too many wickets early on. I think the score was not enough to defend. 300 plus was a target we wanted in this kind of a wicket.

I think we bowled really well in the first 10 overs. Rana bowled well. I think in this kind of a wicket, the score was not enough at all to defend. We will try our best in the 3rd ODI."
Jayden Seales (Player of the Match): "Really pleased with the way I bowled today. I thought about things I needed to do differently after the first game and executed them well. I realized what the batters were trying to do to me, they were trying to use their feet and I adjusted my lengths and line accordingly.

I had a bigger role to play and wanted to stand up for my team. I don't go searching for wickets, I just bowl consistently and let the batters make mistakes. Bangladesh batters are strong down the ground, just bowled according to that."

Time for the Post-Match Presentation.
1:49 AM IST & 4:19 PM Local Time| West Indies have hammered Bangladesh in the 2nd ODI and have clinched the series with a game to go. A thumping win by 7 wickets for the hosts with 79 balls to spare!

Bangladesh were put into bat by Shai Hope. After an initial burst from Tanzid Hasan, Jayden Seales turned the tide with 3 wickets in the first 10 overs. Bangladesh was shaken, losing 4 more wickets for just 61 runs, leaving them struggling at 115/7 in the 26th over.

However, Mahmudullah and Sakib had other plans. They took their time and built a record 92-run partnership for the 8th wicket. Chase eventually dismissed Sakib for 45 runs off 62 balls. Sakib was soon followed back to the pavilion by Mahmudullah, slashing a shot straight to deep point, giving Seales his 4th scalp of the day.

A last-wicket cameo from Shoriful Islam, scoring 15 runs off 8 balls, helped Bangladesh surpass the 225-run mark, setting a competitive total. Jayden Seales was the standout bowler, finishing with figures of 4/22 from his 10 overs.

Bangladesh was eventually bundled out for 227 in 45.5 overs. The Mehidy Hasan Miraz-led side had to bowl well to defend a below par total.

In reply, the Windies openers began cautiously. Brandon King was in fine form, providing a solid start during the powerplay. His partner, Evin Lewis, initially struggled to find his rhythm but eventually hit his stride in the latter half of the powerplay.

Mehidy Hasan Miraz's captaincy came under scrutiny as he set a defensive field immediately after the powerplay. This strategy backfired, as Bangladesh couldn't break the opening partnership early on.

Brandon King and Evin Lewis built a formidable 109-run opening partnership, shifting the momentum entirely in favor of the hosts. Rishad Hossain eventually broke the partnership by dismissing Evin Lewis for 49. Lewis had taken a painful blow in the previous over and was visibly struggling at the crease.

Bangladesh had an opportunity to claw back into the game. The pitch at Warner Park was excellent for batting, and the new Windies batters settled in comfortably. Keacy Carty looked solid at the crease. He and Brandon King (82) put together a 66-run partnership for the 2nd wicket before King was dismissed by Nahid Rana. Against the run of play, Keacy Carty was sent back to the pavilion by Afif Hossain for 45.

The man in-form Sherfane Rutherford along with his skipper, Shai Hope finished off the game for the Windies as the Men in Maroon have comfortably won the 2nd ODI by 7 wickets! This is their first series win in ODIs against Bangladesh since 2014. Stay tuned for the Post-Match Presentation!
