Milestone
That is all we have got from the second Test between West Indies and Bangladesh. Plenty of cricketing action across the globe is coming your way on our network. Stay tuned as we come back with another blockbuster.

For now, this is me AkshayaKrishna Polya, signing off on behalf of my co-commentators Hiren Kumar and Deepak Prakash, who, alongside our scorers/analysts Vishnu Verma and Raju Khariya, brought you all the live action of this series deciding day of the fixture. We will meet again. Until then, it is cheers!
Kraigg Brathwaite and Mehidy Hasan Miraz collect the trophy. The two-match series is drawn. West Indies won the series opener in Antigua, following which Bangladesh hit back with a commanding win at Sabina Park. We have a three-match ODI series and as many T20Is to be played between these two sides, who will begin later in the week.
Kraigg Brathwaite (West Indies Captain): "We wanted to be positive in the chase. Apart from that, there was no second thought. I thought we started well. Obviously, we couldn't finish it off.

Batting in 2024 hasn't been at the level we know we can be. Young guys, in terms of playing Test cricket, and obviously, it is important to learn as you play. But in pressure situations, it is about executing things better and sticking to those plans. Test cricket brings many pressure situations. Our execution could be under a lot of pressure in terms of our batting, especially during attacking shots. Once we get that right and the confidence going, this group can do great things with the bat.

As a group, having intent in both innings is something we need to improve when setting or when chasing. We have discussed it as a group. It is something we need to work on. It will be very crucial for the group as we move forward.

Justin Greaves is getting his first hundred. It is unfortunate for Alick and Mikyle to not get theirs. Jayden's bowling for so few runs was truly amazing. A lot of positives. For the batting group, we need consistency. Consistency in hard work as well. We have enough time to return to the nets before the next series. I believe we have the talent. We need to execute better."
Mehidy Hasan Miraz (Bangladesh Captain): "It is a great feeling. We have played so many years of Test cricket, almost 25 years, so this was enjoyable. We are proud of that moment. We played well.

We need to improve day by day. We need to keep improving in certain areas. We always talked about our boys and how we have to win this game. We are feeling good at this moment. We were not thinking negatively despite being 164 all out.

The boys bowled really well. Especially, Nahid Rana in the first innings, Taskin, and Hasan Mahmud. Second-innings specialist Taijul got five wickets. He was excellent. He has been very good for the last ten years, more than 200 wickets for us. He has been a great asset for us.

Fast bowling has been all about the process. At this moment, Bangladesh has so many fast bowlers. Nahid Rana is coming, Taskin is there, and Hasan Mahmud and Tanzim Sakib are also there. We have good fast bowlers at the moment. We think about how to improve in international cricket. Sometimes, we'll make mistakes, but we'll learn from them."
Jayden Seales (West Indies' Player of the Series): "Being able to control my length, cause pressure to the batsman and be as consistent as possible. It was something I was working from the England series, then moving on to the South Africa series, and now in this series.

Test cricket is tough, and you want to have fun, having banters. Sometimes, you have to get in the batter's face; I look forward to it even if I know that the batters can also be aggressive. I grew up like this, I saw the senior bowlers doing, I just tried to replicate it and so, enjoyed it."
Taskin Ahmed (Bangladesh's Player of the Series): "I'm really happy about this. It was not easy to come back to Test cricket after the injury, and it feels really special. I'm glad to return to Test cricket because I had a bad shoulder. Thanks to the almighty. It wasn't easy to get a comeback. I have worked really hard for that. It is paying off. Hopefully, many more to come.

In the last three years, you can see that our fast bowling side has been improving. We are working together on every series. We are working hard. Because of the processes we follow, we are getting better. Hopefully, in a few years, we'll have more pace bowlers. The Bangladesh board is also doing its best. We enjoyed the banter on the field, and after the game, we were all friends (smiles)."
Joint Player of the Series: Jayden Seales and Taskin Ahmed
Taijul Islam (POTM): "It's always a great feeling to win Test matches in away conditions, which we normally don't do. These are challenging conditions for us.

We had a bit of time for preparations. All the boys put in great effort, and they were dedicated to winning, which made us proud.

Yes, obviously. The fast-bowling group has been performing well for 5-6 years. The spin bowling unit has experience. With the pace and spin attack we have, we've been playing well, and everyone's in good rhythm, so we can definitely compete against any international side in the world."
Player of the Match: Taijul Islam
