So, the league stage of the second season of MLC is done and dusted, with Washington Freedom, San Francisco Unicorns, Texas Super Kings, and MI New York making the top four. The playoff round starts tomorrow, with MI New York and Texas Super Kings facing off in the Eliminator. Time to wrap up this coverage, folks! Faf du Plessis (Texas Super Kings Captain): "Yeah, it was important for a few guys to spend some time in the middle. We adjusted our batting order a bit. Someone like Milind, scoring 20-25 today, needed that time for tomorrow.
Calvin Savage, who's good with the bat, also tried bowling to explore our options for tomorrow. The main purpose was to rest some players, keep their bodies fresh, and give others more time and bigger roles to build their confidence for tomorrow.
We definitely had our eye on tomorrow. A lot of our focus, even towards the end, was on planning for tomorrow's game. We were strategizing who would bowl to whom. Since today's game was a bit of a dead rubber, our main aim was to get things right for tomorrow."

Heinrich Klaasen (Seattle Orcas Captain): "Yes, it has been tough and difficult. Guys have been out of form and injuries also hasn't helped.
I think as a batting group we struggled. The bowling was fine. We lacked 15-20 runs every game. Senior players like myself struggled and was not there in the end. Tough to find rhytm in 7 games and tough season for us batters.
We have proper investment that we can do on certain players. More investment we can do on certain players. It's not doom and gloom for us. Just have to work it out hear and there.
We have to reset and regroup and come back stronger next season. Hope we fight back next season."
