This year, however, we lacked firepower with the bat, although the bowlers performed extremely well. They did what they could throughout the tournament, but the batting was quite disappointing.
We were a bit under par, maybe 15-20 runs short, and that cost us in the end. Quinny is a special cricketer with a great reputation. He's around 32 now and doesn't care about stats. I'll talk to him and hope he scores more runs. We've been poor this season, which is disappointing for the franchise and the owners."

Finn Allen (Most Valuable Player of the Match): "Yes, I think the way Carmi bowled at the top was great and they made inroads at the top. Obviously, trying to be aggressive at the top and start well and stay ahead of the game. It was benefitting good shots and that helped us a lot. Short was great and helped me a lot and that got me going. Happy to be in the top 2 and now we are taking it one game at a time. Our focus shifts to Washington and that match will be on Monday night.
