That's all from the 2nd T20I encounter between West Indies and South Africas.

For now, this is Pritam Dey signing off on behalf of co-commentators Deepak Prakash and Saptak Sanyal who, along with scorer/analysts Yogesh Kumar brought all the actions of this clash. Stay tuned for more cricketing action from around the world.

Brandon King(West Indies Captain)- "It's amazing to win a series as a captain with one game to go. I am very happy.

Roston Chase took the responsibility today and he batted well and he finished well too. He is an incredible cricketer. He is doing well for us and his contributions are important for us. We didn't have a good start in the powerplay but we hit the right areas. But Motie did really well and his spell was important for our victory.

See our side is in a good momentum. We are looking to carry the momentum in the T20 world cup too."
Rassie van der Dussen (South Africa Captain) : "Yeah, not to happy with that bowling performance again tonight as I feel we let them get 20 runs more in this wicket. Our seamers did not have any answers to their batters.

Our spinners were brilliant tonight but it was just we left too much out there in the middle. I think Shepherd bowled really well and was disciplined with a lot of cutters which is really effective in these conditions. We would like to learn from it and bounce back tomorrow for the final T20I game."
Roston Chase(Player of the Match)- "I waited for the opportunity. Sammy spoke to me about my role in the team. I prepared myself for this role in CPL.

My plan was to take the game deep and I realised that I can go hard as the wicket is better than the last game. You have to be ready always to bowl the tough overs. I am quite happy with my performance."

Time for the post-match presentations.

03:54 AM IST and 17:24 PM Local Time | West Indies have won the 2nd T20I game against South Africa by 16 runs and have won the series with a game to play.

After winning the toss and electing to bat first, West Indies started off well with the bat despite losing the wicket of Johnson Charles for 7 off 9 balls. The quickfire Innings of Brandon King (36 off 22) and Kyle Mayers (32 off 16) got them going in the Innings. Despite losing a couple of wickets, the Windies batters kept going with the run rate and looked for the odd boundary every over.

Roston Chase was rotating strike at the beginning of his Innings and had a late flourish to his Innings after reaching his half century. He also ended up being the highest run scorer in the Innings with an unbeaten 67 of 38 balls. The cameo at the end from Romario Shepherd helped the Windies cross the 200 mark and posted up a total of 207/7 in their 20 overs.

For South Africa, Nqaba Peter, Andille Phehlukwayo and Lungi Ngidi picked up two wickets each. The Proteas had to chase down a target of 208 in their 20 overs to level the series.

In reply, the Proteas got off to a blistering start with the bat all the bowlers were travelling across the ground inside the powerplay. The openers added up a 81 runs partnership in 5 overs. West Indies were desperate for the breakthrough and Akeal Hosein got rid off Quinton de Kock. The window opens for a comeback for the home side as both the openers are back into the pavilion in quick successions.

The new batters were struggling to get going in the middle overs and the lack of boundaries was just increasing the asking rate for South Africa. Some really smart bowling in the death overs from the Windies taking pace of the ball made it extremely difficult for Proteas to get the boundaries. The spinners were impressive once again with Gudakesh Motie (3/22) being the pick of the bowlers for the home side.

So the West Indies have already won the T20I Series with a game to go against South Africa tomorrow.
