9:57 PM IST, 5:27 PM Local Time: Somerset thump Hampshire by a massive margin of 63 runs to return to the winning ways. 

Earlier, After being invited to bat first, Somerset lost Tom Banton (24), Will Smeed (16), and Tom Kohler-Cadmore (10) inside the powerplay but Tom Abell and Sean Dickson played at a brisk pace from the outset and put the batting back on track. The pair added 144 runs for the fourth wicket, with Dickson departing for 65 runs. 

Abell continued his carnage and remained unbeaten on 96 runs, finishing off the innings with a maximum and helping his side post a mountain of runs. Lewis Gregory contributed with a cameo of 18 runs off 8 balls at the tail end of the innings. 

Chris Wood and Michael Neser bagged a couple of wickets for Hampshire, while Liam Dawson celebrated a solitary wicket. 

In pursuit of a hefty 241 runs, Hampshire got off to a solid start as their openers, James Vince (30 off 16) and Ben McDermott (46 off 29) added 77 runs for the opening wicket. However, 
Ben Green trapped both openers in his opening over and ignited a collapse as Hampshire lost momentum and fell like nine pins. Eventually, they were bundled out for 178 runs in 19.3 overs.

Ben Green shone with the ball for  Somerset, claiming five wickets for 29 runs. Riley Meredith and Lewis Gregory chipped in with a couple of wickets, while Josh Davey contributed one wicke to Hawks's downfall.
